I recently purchased a camper from heartland rv I have reached out to the company about the issues I have with my rv. It has caught fire from the stove, water leaking in the kitchen and the front half of the rv receptacle does not work. They have offered to have it repaired but being there was a electrical problem causing things to melt I do not feel that it is safe for me to use it due to possible underlying problem that could acureBusiness response

We had issues with our ** and was told by ARS, which is a repair company we were told to take our camper to that the problem would be fixed Is Now not able to fix the ** properly because of the factory refusing and blame it on the warranty. Told the dealership Alexanders ** in ******** where we purchased the ** as well as the repair shop of ARS they would fix it. Thats why we took the camper there. Now they are denying to fix our camper, which is now apart and expect us to pay for something we didnt authorize. I have emails going back-and-forth between ARS as well as heartland. The email that Ive received. I have sent over to *********************** as well for their information. We cannot use our ** is disassembled. The roof is removed and exposed. We cannot use it. Its a safety hazard as well as the electrical water has gotten in, and has affected the electric, which is a fire hazard please help us shave the lives of anyone that goes in the camper.Business response

In June 2022 I purchased a Heartland Pioneer BH27 from a dealer Rv world. It has been a dream to own an Rv and travel. Right from day 1, the fresh water tank had issues. For some reason it got full from the city connection. The company then work on this issue claiming its the pump, replaced it. The tank kept mysteriously filling up and somehow water always made it's way. Last summer while cleaning the waste tank. Water came in but not put. They claim the hose was bent and fixed it. The waste tank after that would show its full after emptying it. They claimed it's a sensor issue or toilet paper stuck on it. Three days ago, trying to put water in fresh water tank. I noticed it wasn't getting any. Checked level, opened hose to see it sensor was off bcus it showed tank was empty after having running water 5 min.However, the ***** tank filled up!!!!This is beyond ridiculous. It's been 2 years and the issue with the fresh water hasn't resolved. In fact every time I go in for one thing another issue emerges. .this unit is defective and I demand replacing it.Business response

Purchased a Road warrior toy hauler, Unit had issues and was delayed on picking it up for a few weeks. Got it home and it flooded first rain, Floor soft, Water coming thru lights, it was bad. Returned to the dealer and they have had it for months, Ive "Owned" this thing for 8 months but ive never been able to use it. Swung by the dealer and they said they were waiting on manufacturer to approve repair, I had to get the paperwork where i purchased it from the drawer inside of the camper, Smell of mold, Spots on walls, mold and mildew and thats a wrap. This thing is done. Company did tell me this wouldnt hurt the value and i could trade it though. lol.... Just glad i can make payments on the unit and the insurance for no reason and luckily the warranty will be out before it can even be used. So i will have a mold filled broken floor junk camper that i can bring home. On the bright side, I have the screwdrivers they left wedged in the roof and top of the slide when i first picked it up. Heartland rvs, owned by Thor Ind. denied my request for them to take my ******** ****** 5th wheel (VIN ending ******) back to their factory for numerous defect repairs. Local service facility, **********, ** Camping World, refused to tackle the electrician issues. Heartland initially agreed on a recorded line that they take it back and fix it.Business response

august 1st 2021.I received a recall letter from Heartland recreational vehicles for my r.v, the heartland trailrunner vin# ***************** to replace the propane regulator. Repair will be done at no cost to me. I had the repair done at ***************. The **** for the work done was for $182.05 which I wrote a check for. I put the invoice along with recall regulator in a self addressed box and U.P.S delivered to Heartland R.V on 11/02/21. At the present time 12/3/21, I still have not received a reimbursement check for the check I wrote for the repair. I called heartland r.v again on 12/02 about my reimbursement, I was told that a check would be sent to my address within two weeks. I still have not received a check and the date today is 12/15 2021. At this point I don't think they are going send a reimbursement check at all Could u please help me on this matterBusiness response
