*********************, general manager at the Wells Cargo factory in ***** **, had my Wells Cargo trailer towed from the factory property, and impounded by ***** Police. This is after 27 years and 13 Wells Cargo trailers ordered and purchased. I have loved Wells Cargo trailers. My friends will attest that they get tired of me talking about how I love my Wells Cargo trailers.March 23, 2023 I took my Wells Cargo Motortrac to the Wells Cargo factory in ***** ****. I met with ********************* and a guy named ****, who said he was the engineer for the company. My trailer was purchased in April 2017, so it still had a week if structural warranty left.In the months prior, the white interior finish panels on the ceiling, fell down and the lights attached to them. Most of the screws on the upper exterior trim had fallen out. It was very difficult to get the rear door shut and to get it to unbind, and open.********************* said he would replace the heavy duty rear door with a light duty rear door.I thought it was the heavy rear door. The new door would not shut. And when trying to open it, it was bound shut.******************* told me "We will do as little as possible fixing your trailer.". He left all the interior panels that had fallen, on the floor with wires hanging 3' out if the ceiling. He got belligerent when I asked him to reinstall them. He then stormed off not talking and went back in the building.Over the next weeks, the put the interior back together. The binding door problem persisted. The trailer was originally ordered with wall studs 12" on center and double layer flooring. I paid extra for these adds.********************* told me that the binding door "isn't our problem.".Non of the other 12 Wells Cargo trailer I have had had the body tilting problem and the doors have always shut properly. Even after 19 years. And, until *********************, personnel at Wells Cargo have always been respectful. He got mad again, and had my trailer impounded.27 years of loyalty. Crazy.
