This business accepted our deposit for a sunroom March 2024. We were told per our contract someone would be out to take final measurements 6-8 weeks from the sale, no one has contacted us to get the final measurements. But they are expecting another deposit in August.

American Sunspace entered into contract with *********************** on March 21, 2024.  The amount of the contract is *********, we received a partial deposit of $9,100.00.  The contract states that the balance of the deposit is due in August 2024 in the amount of $6,000.00.  The contract also states the installation is due ***** months from the date of the contact.  Installation timeframe would be due in January -March 2025.  I received an email on May 4, 2024, on our company website address regarding the installation date.  The email was responded to on May 6, 2024, stating that the installation is ***** months from the contract date, the balance of the deposit was due in August and that the next step would be the job check, job checks are normally done 6-8 weeks however that is usually when we have received the full deposit, I said that we would be contacting her to schedule the job check in the next 2-3 weeks then after the final measurement are taken she will receive prints showing her the layout of the project. The measurement appointment was made, and the customer has received the engineered stamped sunroom prints for her job. The sunroom prints have been approved and installation is on the schedule to start in the next 3-5 weeks earlier than the contract installation date noted on the contract.

      Regards,

      ***********************

Back in 2010 I had this company put new windows throughout my whole house. I was told there was a lifetime guarantee on the windows. I have a double window in the front of my home that is woodgrain. Apparently they put a thin sheet of wood veneer on the inside of the window and it was partially visible on the outside of the window. This is all peeling off and looks terrible on the outside. It is in the front and very unsightly. I have called the company numerous times to come and resolve this problem to no avail. I speak to someone named *****. She does not return calls or even acknowledge a message. I have called at least five different numbers thinking that maybe I could talk to someone else but they all lead to *****. I started to contact this company as long as three years ago. They still have not done anything. I think a couple of years ago I finally did get a call and they were supposed to come out and look at the problem but it never happened. This is very poor business and I would not recommend them to anyone because once they have your money they seem to forget about the lifetime guarantee.

This is in response to the recent complaint received by ***************************************. ************************ purchased windows from our company in 2010 and again in 2011.  I, *********************** have talked to ************************ on a few occasions regarding her current service. I called ************************ in response to her original service in 2020 and discussed her problem and also the current situation with Covid happening in the world. At that time, she had no problem waiting and understood the situation. I scheduled her service for 10/13/2020 with **** at 3:30pm, the customer called and left a message stating that she had to cancel her appointment.  Again, just a reminder that Covid was going on during this time and we were respecting several of our customers and employees wishes to wait until things calmed down and would return to "normal".  I called ************************ on *********************** 12:57pm and left a message regarding her service and did not get a response back from her.  ************************ called on May 31, 2022, not happy and explained that she was waiting on her service to be completed and she definitely needed to get this taken care of as she is putting her house on the market to sell.  During that phone call I scheduled service with her for June 2, 2022, at 10:30 and she stated that 1:00 p.m. would work better for her, so it was scheduled for 6/2/22 at 1:00 p.m.  During that phone call I also explained that ***** would be coming out to take a look at what materials will be needed and to see and what needed to be done so that we could get this taken care of for her.  I received a message from her on June 2, 2022, that she needed to cancel that appointment and would need to reschedule.  Therefore, I would need time to check schedules etc. to reschedule her appointment.  I was out of the office on Friday June 4, 2022.  When I came in today, June 6, 2022, I received a message regarding her service. I called back on 6/6/22 at 8:21am and left a message regarding rescheduling.  I then received this complaint at 9:21am from the customer. **************************** service is a manufacturer defect in materials purchased from the manufacturer. We have every intention of repairing Ms. **************************************** Unfortunately, due to covid and all of the employee shortages etc. this has made everything challenging and behind schedule, and we apologize for the delays.  To get this service completed and the problem resolved we are needing time and date options from the customer so we can schedule and complete her requested service.

      Thank you.
