I purchased a 2014 **** F-150 FX4 on March 7th, 2022. When purchasing the vehicle I asked the owner, ***** if there was any issues with the vehicle and he told me there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. After purchasing the vehicle, I had driven 15 miles and the check engine light came on leading me to believe it had just been cleared with a scanner. Once getting the vehicle back to *********, ** I took it to autozone and scanned it myself, the engine had a misfire on Cylinder 2. I purchased the spark plugs to fix the misfire and when changing them on Cylinders 1,3,4,5,6 there were brand new NGK Spark Plugs, on cylinder 2 where there was the misfire they had put an old stock **** spark plug there which was odd to me. We exchanged all the spark plugs for brand new ones and 5 miles after exchanging them the engine seized. I had the vehicle towed back and inspected and on cylinder 2 where **** had put the stock **** spark plug that was causing that cylinder not to fire, there was no lubrication and the cylinder looked like it had been burnt for a while. This makes me feel as if the engine was tampered with to make look good enough to make a sale and why he was so adamant on making sure the As-Is form was filled out. I've driven the vehicle for a TOTAL of 6 days and less than 300 miles, including driving it over 100 miles back home from the dealership. I am aware that me signing the As-Is paperwork saves him from any action taken but I do believe this is immoral and should be brought to the light of the public, to save anybody else from an issue with ****. Looking at his ****** Reviews on his business this seems I am not the first person to have this exact problem from him.Thank you.
