I contracted David Finnerty Interiors/Construction to build my new home on 3/4/2021. This project was supposed to take 7 months to complete. After, 14 months and many attempts to contact ***** ******** to complete my home he left me with no other option but to fire him on 04/28/2022. A letter was sent to Mr. ******** by my attorney *** ****** notifying him of his termination. I had a home inspection completed by Barnett & Associates on May 6th, 2022. During the inspection it was brought to my attention the master shower floor is pooling water because the floor is sloped wrong. Also, the shower walls are missing grout allowing water behind the tiles and the bench seat is scratched all over needing replaced. The second issue being Mr. ******** placed the soaking tub over the HVAC duct in the master bathroom. I had to have the HVAC, plumber and tile contractor correct his neglect. The reason I am using the word "neglect" because Mr. ******** installed the tiles over the air vents throughout the entire home. I paid each of the contractors out of my pocket for his neglect. The entire home has tiled floors, the floors have a haze and or stained like areas that I can't get off. I contacted a professional tile company to see if they were able to repair the shower floor, bench, walls and hazed floors. I was given a verbal quote of $14,000.00. I would like for Mr. ******** to pay for the problems listed above or have his insurance company pay for his mistakes.
