      I paid for 3 inspections done by Champion Home Inspections. Initially the first inspection caused for major concern along with consideration of withdrawal of offer. When I called the gentleman who did the inspection that was referred by my realtor he was reluctant to speak with me at first about questions I had. He suggested that I speak to my realtor. It was a major concern for me as I was the consumer and mentioned getting a different inspector. I wish I had listened to my gut then. However, we proceed at the advice of our realtor. We paid him to come to reinspect if the found issues were fixed. Some items we were told were fix and others had not. The inspector along with our realtor assured us this was standard. We did the inspection 3 times cautiously but were reassured that the items had been fixed. However, after moving we found out the inspector had "missed" a 8 1/2 ft cast iron pipe that was connected to our toilets. We were flushing our toilet under our house for the first 2 weeks of us moving in. The home sellers had wrapped the split pipe in clear tarp multi times in order to conceal the pipe. We had a laundry room that had no pipes connected to drainage under the house. When I asked about this specifically the inspector shrugged it off as a nonworking pipe. However, this was the pipe that would have connected to our washer. Every item that had been mention in our 1st inspection was not repaired, looking back in hindsight I can't understand why he would have said these items were repaired when he was suppose working for the checks we had written to him. I would not recommend this company. This inspector's lack of either knowledge or integrity has cost us thousands of dollars, if not more.

      In response to your review about our company. We have responded to you timely and requested information to investigate what has taken place. This request was made to your husband who I spoke with on 8/27/2022. That day I emailed him the form to file a complaint and provide evidence for your claims. You have chosen not to respond to you us with evidence for these claims. We understand unfortunate issues arise after people move in. In your case, significant plumbing issues took place within 2 weeks of moving in. You decided to notify us of this over 1 year after your inspection. This isn't the only item you waited over an entire year to notify us and at this point, you have already made repairs making it difficult to verify the validity of your claims. Each one of the items mentioned above is in your report, we can not warranty or guarantee work we do not do or provided by 3rd party companies. Please take this up with the company that did the work.       In response to this owner who suggested that because we didn't allow him a 4th payment of yet another inspection that he wasn't liable. The damage was already done, we made the necessary repairs but his response is we waited a year. We called and asked to speak to the owner it was only after the review did we get a phone call at 7:30 at night. Where he pursed to question my wife about each of our different contractors and question their integrity . We sent him evidence of the issues. Pictures of no plumbing under the laundry room, pipes that had cracks with sewage, etc. Yet no concern. Under the advice of our attorney for other reasons we asked only for a refund. Which he hasn't responded to. He was upset with the review, I was upset with his service. I am exercising my right to give an honest review.

      We did not ask for another payment or ask to conduct another inspection. We have not received any evidence(photos or otherwise to substantiate your claims).
