    This all started in March of 2022 when Hyundai of Evansville did an oil consumption test on my 2015 Santa Fe Limited Ultimate over a month or two. It was burning oil, but they wouldn't do anything until they did this oil consumption test. My vehicle failed the test, and Hyundai corporate said it qualified for a new engine. In May of 2022, I dropped it off to get a rebuilt engine. A few months passed, and we hadn't heard anything from them. The dealership was in the midst of being bought by new owners. I finally got my vehicle back the first week of Jan 2023 after being in the garage since May. I had my vehicle back six days when it broke down and went back to the dealership, where they had it until August. They had my vehicle for fifteen months. We looked under the hood a few weeks later and found oil leaking. It went back to the dealership to get fixed. Instead, they fixed it using silicone. It was still leaking oil, so we took it back again. They fixed it right the second time, but when my husband changed the oil, he found debris in the oil filter. My husband took the filter to Hyundai Evansville to show the head mechanic. He looked at it and said that was normal. I filed a case with Hyundai a few weeks ago, and they instructed us to take it to another dealership. On Feb 21, 2024, the other dealership found metal in the oil pan and filter. The case manager called, and I told them what was found. They instructed us to call Hyundai Of Evansville to schedule an appointment to resolve the issue. We called today, and they refused to make the appointment, stating there was no issue. Corporate called and told them to make the appointment. The appt is two months out. They've ruined my vehicle and won't back their work. I shouldn't have to get corporate involved. Each time we confront them with a problem, they blow it off like it's normal. Metal in the engine is not normal. They have documentation from the other dealership and still refuse to acknowledge the problem.

    After looking further into their “upside down” “deal”, I had my credit ran when it was said it wouldn’t be. Now I have a hard inquiry that is absolutely pointless on my credit history. The management did not seem concerned at all with the lies and deceit. They defended their deal saying the voucher does pay the car off, but your negative still rolls over. After complaining in the chat to a message received from them, they blocked my profile. They have no intentions of making anything right for anyone and are just in the business of scamming people. DO NOT BUY VEHICLES HERE!
