      Feb. 5 2020 installed flashing on vertical wall and under roof of pole barn ,i was told it would be held in place by screws. About a month ago said flashing was blown out by the wind and the piece that was blown out was not screwed down. I have contacted ELITE CONSTRUCTIONS Answering service about five timed, they always say someone will call but they never do. I would like this flashing reinstalled and secured properly.

      My home was badly damaged by the tornado in December. **** was very friendly and I signed a contract with him on how much it would be to fix my house. He promised me that if I got the money to him by the weekend before Christmas that I would have a roof by Christmas. I still don't have a roof. The only thing he has done is tear out my ceilings and the insulation. It is pulling teeth to get him to do anything and when he does come he only stays about three hours and leaves. He said my floors was bad and he would need another $3,000 for that. I have gave him a total of $9,275 and he has not put on a roof and he has not fixed the ceiling. He put my belongings outside for three weeks not to be rained on. Everything in my home is going to have to be replaced because of water damage. If he couldn't do the job he could have just said no instead of taking all of that money and not doing anything. Oh he did leave a huge pile of trash in my backyard. He said he would clean all of that up but he won't. I will have to clean it up. I called **** this morning to try and get a solution before I took further action. I told him I want my money back and he could even keep what he paid for in materials and what little labor he did. He got angry, he called me a *****, he called me trash, he said my animals are filthy, he said my home is a pig sty. I told him "if you feel that way then give my money back." I told him a week ago "if you are not going to fix the roof please tell me so I can someone that will." He laughed at me and said "ok do what you got to do" and then he slammed my door . He has a temper and is very moody. He is really nice when he takes your money but he won't do the work after that. The only thing you get are excuses. I am asking for my money back plus the costs for the clean up for the garbage he left in my yard and also the door he broke and never fixed. He also broke my thermostat off the wall. I want $10,000 that is the money I paid him and for the damages.

      Business Response On December 21, 2021, Elite went out to give Mrs. ***** an estimate on storm damage to her roof. Upon arriving to do the work, **** realized this project was way more than a roof. The house was well below room temperature. There was multiple piles of animal urine and feces on the floor. Piles upon piles of Mrs. ***** belongings in every room and walkway, some covered in animal urine and feces. More than 40 percent of the flooring was rotted out to the point you were walking on carpet draped over the floor joists. More than 50 percent of the ceilings were collapsed in and with multiple mold spores apparent. On December 21st, It was established that Mrs. ***** would have the home cleaned up enough to allow our workers to work without hazards. Then the crews would be out to start and finish the job by Christmas. On December 22nd, **** went out there to start the job. The house was still a hazardous work environment to our employees. **** took it upon hisself to help her get the home in working condition, so our employees could start the job. **** helped Mrs. ***** go through all of her belongings. She sat there and guided him on what she wanted to keep and what she wanted to get rid of. He put a gas heater, two electric heaters, 6 fans, and a dehumidifier in her house to dry out the urine and rain water, as well in an effort to keep her house warm. Mrs. ***** was advised to leave these appliances on. Every time **** came back the next day to Mrs. *****'s house, all of the appliances would be turned off. Due to unforeseen circumstances of the house not being a safe work environment and the holidays, we were not able to start the scope of work in the contract until January 7, 2022. They were able to start and finish install insulation and hanging ceiling in her bedroom, that same day. They were slowed due to working around Mrs. *****. As she would stand in their way as they were trying to work. Since January 7th, we haven't seen temperatures above 30 degrees. The temperatures must be above 40 degree to finish the contracted work. Any timeframes that has been given to her as been based weather permitting. Mrs. ***** has been notified and kept up to date on this. As she will continue to be. I told him my house was hit by a tornado and my roof got blown off and all my ceilings collapsed. I signed a contract with him to repair the roof and the ceilings. He knew before he ever came to my house that it was more than a roofing job. I will not disagree that my house was cold. I had no roof and no ceilings in December and January, my house was freezing. **** said that he needed half for materials. He promised that if I got him half the money the weekend before Christmas that I would have a roof before Christmas. He did not do anything except more damage to my house. He did put insulation in my room and he put half the drywall in my room. He did this with no roof! It rained and all of that cracked and fell on the floor. My home has no urine or animal feces. This is just one of ****'s many excuses. He inspected my home and he accepted the job. If my house was as bad as he claims then he should never have accepted the job or took my money. My home had no significant mold damage. **** bought a "do it yourself at home mold test" kit. He left this on my counter. He told me that he was spraying my whole house for mold and sending a sample to Memphis, TN and I would get the results in the mail. I never got those results because he was never spraying for mold. He took $9,275 and did more damage. He broke three doors in my house. He broke the thermostat off the wall. He took my belongings out of two of my rooms and put them outside. He said they would only be outside for two days at the most. My belongings were outside over a month and everything got ruined. The only people that **** brought to do any work was himself, an older man named ***** and his teenaged son. They only came a couple times and stayed three hours at the most. When they were at my house they did more damage. The only piece of materials I saw that he bought was a few pieces of drywall and insulation for one room. The last time I called **** I told him it wasn't working out because he wasn't doing the job and I wanted my money back. He screamed at me, cursed and called me names. He gave me every excuse from he had a flat tire, one of his employees had a wreck and was in the hospital, one of the roofers mother died and he had to go to New York for the funeral, he said that the roofers was finishing up another job and then they would be at my house. He also said the roofers didn't want to come because I love to far away. I begged him to put the roof on. He can't use excuses about the inside of my house. The roof has nothing to do with the inside even if his accusations were true. I was not in his way at all. He was not at my house for me to stand in his way. One day while he was there I had a doctor appointment and had to leave. I asked him to shut the door when he left. I was horrified when I came home. He left my door wide open, my dogs got outside, and he left his garbage on the floor. I knew he was not going to do the job. I text **** several times asking him if he was going to do the job or give my money back and he ignored me. I finally realized that he never had any intention on doing the work. I had to get a roof and my ceilings fixed so I hired another contractor to do it. They were very professional and got everything done in five days. They never complained about my house or the floors. I have paid them in full. Since **** failed to do any of the work I hired him to do I want my money back and I want the costs for the damages that he did to my home while he was there. I have all of the text messages between **** and I. It shows all of his excuses and he always says "it will be done this week" and he still has not done anything. I have the contract and all of the paperwork he gave me. I have pictures and videos of the damage he did to my house. That is not his money. That is my money. I gave him $9,275 and he did not do the work. I want my money back and I want the doors replaced that he broke, my belongings replaced that he literally threw outside in the weather. He destroyed my room when he put insulation up. He tore all of my wallpaper and broke every picture frame I had in the room. He had plenty of time to get the work done. I told him many times that I'm not picky and I would just be happy with any roof and a ceiling. He wouldn't do that. I had no choice. I had to hire someone else. Since the job is now completed I wanted all of my money back $9,275 and the costs for the damage that he did. It is my money, not his. I want this to be over with and be done with and be done with **** *****.

      I signed a contract to have them repair 2 areas of my roof, decking, and drip edge on 6/11/21. They came out and did partial repairs about 1.5 weeks later. They failed to finish 1/2 of the repairs. I made over 20 calls to try and get them out to finish the other half of the job. **** refuses to return my calls and when he did at first he was full of empty promises. They never came out. I stopped by their office one time and saw ****. Again he made an empty promise of coming out. **** could do the work himself, but instead that day he spent some of my money or other customers' money on unclaimed freight. He was opening up random junk from unclaimed freight on the floor of his office. I do not trust them to do the work correctly at this stage. I am requesting half of the money back. The contract was for $2,800.00. I expect to get $1,400.00 for work that wasn't completed or will need to be redone.

      Business Response We entered in a contract with Mr. ***** in June of 2021 to repair two areas of the roof, decking, and drip edge. About a week and half after the contract was signed, our guys went and repaired as per contract. Upon **** repairing the roof, the area of damage was discovered to be out of scope of the contract by two feet. **** was willing to do the extra work at no extra charge. Since then, **** has communicated that we are just waiting on guys to be able to go out there to do the extra work. We are willing to still do the extra work at no cost. However, the work we were contracted for and paid in full for is completed. The work Mr. ***** is speaking of is above and beyond the contract with no charge to him. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The soft spot is absolutely within the scope of the contract. This area is the front left corner of my home. The contract states 2' by 15' area at the front left. I attached pictures of the roof with a tape measure. It measures several inches over 12'. The area that was repaired was done poorly and unsatisfactory. It will need to be redone when the worst spot at the corner is repaired. ****'s statement about the contract scope is false and absolutely incorrect. I also attached a picture of the unsatisfactory work at the back of my home. The end of the rubber isn't sealed in several areas of the work that **** repaired poorly. It has now been about 4.5 months since the unsatisfactory repairs were started. If his crew can come out 1.5 weeks after the contract was signed, an extra 4.5 months was more than sufficient for time to correct and finish the job. The attached photos show the missed area and the poor quality of work. ****'s statements are 100% false about the scope and contract in relation to the scope. I still expect a 50% refund. I will be contacting someone else to correct the job.

      In April 2020, I hired Elite Roofing to install a metal roof on my home. After the job was completed we noticed many imperfections to the roofing job. We immediately contacted **** ***** and he came a few days later to look at the roof and confirmed that it was not a satisfactory job. He promised to arrive promptly with all new roofing materials to complete the job correctly for a second time. After several weeks we hadn't heard from him for a installation date. We contacted him once a week for several months being told that the roofing had been cut and they would follow up soon. Over a year later and still no result. We are wanting a complete refund of what was paid to Elite roofing upfront in the amount of $10,000.

      Business Response A new metal roof was installed at the *****'. They were not satisfied with the new roof. We offered to replace the roof. They did not think the time frame was acceptable. Through our 100% satisfaction guarantee we have offered them a refund. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) That is a Lie they told us the new roof was ordered but he never once showed up to install it Plus I have all the text messages and also Pictures from our security system showing he never even came by. He told us the new roof was ordered and he would replace it in 1 week So after a week went buy I contacted him and then he said he will be there in 2 weeks. Well 2 weeks went buy and no response was made. So I contacted him and told him to give us a refund and he said no. We have been trying to get this resolved since and He keeps lying about getting it replaced. Business Response They did not like the time frame on the replacement roof. They contacted a lawyer, we have been through litigation. We have made arrangements through their lawyer to give them a 100% refund. The roof we installed is still on the house. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Our attorney said he was supposed to send the refund overnight and that was last week. He never sent the refund at all. We want a refund now he can send it to our attorney . They are waiting but he still has not sent it. We need it so we can have someone else replace the roof. He Has had plenty of time to send the refund but has refused Consumer Response We have not received a complete refund as he stated. We want our complete refund or will pursue further action with our attourney.
