Ever since T-Mobile and KKR acquired Metronet customer service online never works and internet keeps failing. Technicians are great. Problem is failed management and leadership needs state and FCC investigations.

Was told price would not change. Called today and spoke to someone who transferred me to their "Loyalty" program. They told me that they where sorry someone lied to me, it was not the first time. Said they best they could do was to increase my bill by $5 a month so I would not have an increase for 3 years. Will be switching as soon as I get around to it. The actual internet service has not been an issue. They just have no honesty as a company.

This company is an absolute scam and a nightmare to deal with. They came and installed equipment in January but couldn’t get it to work. Despite that they billed us. In good faith and believing they would soon have everything working, we paid the bill. However, the communication from the company then dropped offed completely. The texts to the service supervisor went unanswered. Customer service calls were put into an endless queue and never answered. Texts with customer service were completely unproductive as we were passed from one agent to another, resubmitting information over and over without any progress’s toward resolution. And, of course, we continued to get billed despite no service. Finally, we were able to talk to a person and we able to close the account. The company will be coming to remove their equipment but who knows what will be done about the holes drilled into the walls. Save yourself a headache and stay away from this company. They will happily bill you for services never rendered and will provide only false avenues for communication.

Terrible Company. They jumped the gun on the Colorado Springs market and didn't even have a server to peer off of. Latency is nothing better than 40ms inside Colorado Springs. Which does not follow market standard. Xfinity, Quantum and Ting average bellow 15 within the entire state, But they do conveniently follow what they call their "Fiber" Standard of 30-70ms or whatever. Every ISP in town has their own servers to peer off of and then routes to the next local server afterwards. But because they decided to be impatient everything routes out of Texas on their standard IP Pools, or Chicago depending on the location. I never thought I'd say this, but I am having a worse experience than Comcast. Don't claim that you are ultra-low latency and superior to cable. If you are not. It's simply a lie.

Metronet is providing service in MN but not following MN Law. They advertised $55/month then tacked on an additional $12.95 Tech Assure fee that was hidden in the fine print. Minnesota considers it a “deceptive trade practice” if a merchant “advertises, displays, or offers a price for goods or services that does not include all mandatory fees and surcharges.”

On Sept. 3, I saw a man from Metronet) walking through the backyard. When I went back there, I saw they had removed 2 large limbs from a 60+-year-old majestic spruce. Branches were removed at 5' and 6' which had not impeded their access to the box on the pole. Not only did they not give me prior notice, they didn't even contact me that day. They were just too lazy to walk around the tree. The limbs also could have been pushed out of their way. I asked for a supervisor. **** ******** came out and agreed that the limbs did not need to be removed and told the workers not to touch another branch on the tree. They put the limbs in the bed of their truck, removing the evidence. They didn't remove any other branches in the neighborhood that day. I have pictures of this. They used a bucket truck to access the box on the pole. The two removed limbs would not have been in their way. I contacted the *****************************; they said Metronet does not fall under their purview. Other utilities have to give advance notice of trimming. ****** ************ even called me to get permission to be on my property to remove limbs from my neighbor's tree. Metronet can disfigure trees with impunity, so they don't care! Frustrating beyond belief!

WE had Metronet installed in June. Had issues with Eero way to hot so after much disagreement with them they sent out a technician and yes, they had to replace it. The speed is the same with 1 g was my previous 5 mg. I have contacted them multiple times about the gift card promised after two months. they say oops we will reset the 2 months. Why reset, it's been almost 5 months. Terrible customer service!

I’ve had Metronet for over 2 years and recently found out that they have been charging me for 500mb speeds when in fact I was getting speeds under 100mb. I contacted their customer service and the best they could do was give me $150 credit. I overpaid by over $450 in just over a 2 year period. I would not recommend their service!

0 stars. Called and canceled because we moved, and they don't offer service at our new address. Was told our plan was canceled and that we needed to return the equipment to the nearest participating UPS store at our earliest convenience. They emailed me to say "Sorry to see you go" and provided a link to find the nearest participating UPS location. Unfortunately, the closest one was 30 mins away. Fast forward to a week after we move, and I get charged for another month from Metronet. I call, go through 10 different automated menus and then sit on hold for 40 mins just to be told that our service isn't canceled until the equipment is returned. Of course the response is "Who ever you spoke to before should have made it clear that your service isn't canceled until the equipment is returned. We, or at least I make sure that's clear when I talk to customers". Nothing was mentioned about paying for service until the equipment is returned when I called, OR in the email directing people on how to return the equipment. The associate I spoke with today did reply with "I can cancel your service now, but I'll have to charge you for equipment and the router is $150". What the **** kind of response is that. Absolute ********* company to deal with.
