      I have yet to get a response from this management company I was cussed at today by one of their property managers and apparently customer service is not a high priority for this company. I was simply asking for a solution to a washer that is broken and they're telling me it is going to take 7 days to get the part in and to get it repaired there are plenty of empty *************** they could simply take a washer from one of the other units. I live here as a convenience being told I am out of a washer for 7 days isn't a convenience and to have the f-bombs thrown at me by the property manager is completely unprofessional it's intimidating and it's a bullying tactic. And a huge concern that I left messages for the management company today several different times and I got no response from them.

      December 2022 my apartment sprinkler system burst and destroyed everything I had. It took maintenance half a day to come and start clearing out the water from my unit. Once management was in office, we went to ask for accomdation but was told there's nothing they can do since it wasn't their fault. I had to rent an Airbnb but 3 weeks later there were still no updates about the apartment. My renters insurance had maxed and we let the management know and they refused to help with anything. Per Indiana tenant law if the apartment is not habitable we are able to break the lease with no penalty we were told that legally they did not have to break the lease. There was a neighbor who was also affected and they paid his light bill, also gave him a model apartment to accommodate and also advised him that our insurance will pay for his damages. The area manager was very rude and unwilling to work with ** without the threat of legal action. The "luxury" apartment is just a scam and they do not care about their tenants. They do not care to help nor do they return the money you paid for rent when you haven't lived there for over a month. Please think twice before renting with this management group.

      Horrible in every way, shape, and form. They have refused to fix our broken window and it has been three weeks. They are trash.

      Ive rented from Becovic for going on two years. Im stuck due to the high rental prices everywhere right now. Ive had a 20% increase since Ive moved in, maintenance is horrible, i went without adequate hot water for 6 months, other issues too numerous to list. The lack of empathy, compassion, caring by staff is unbelievable. Ive never had quiet enjoyment as there is constant construction that makes working from home difficult. Maintenance just comes in without notice, even though i request phone calls to schedule. Please take my advice and do not rent a Becovic property.

      The people here are very unprofessional and harass tenants for asking for repairs. They come into your apartment anytime and dont even respect that you ask to be notified. Once they hate you they try just try to make your life difficult by not even doing any repairs. Apartments have mold and the top layer in their bathtubs peels. They are very old apartment and need too many repairs but they take it out out tenants. Okay Ven reviews from their own past employees are not good. The maintain the outside but they do not maintain the inside. They did say some things that really sounded like discrimination to me.

      Signed my lease in June, explicitly stated I wanted a 12-month lease. Put 12-month as the term when I applied. Was pushed towards a 14-month with 2 free months on the front end, which didn't work for me because I needed to be out from under my lease by July 2022. They sent the DocuSign over with 14-month term anyway, and on the "Concessions" section also listed $0.00. I emailed management about this as I felt I was getting the short end of both sticks, and they said not to worry, they would take care of it. They told me I could terminate my lease with a 2-month notice, which was included in the contract language.Well, they ended up sticking me with the 14-month term, and they eventually gave me 2-months' rent as a concession, which was never reflected as needing to be paid back in the contract. The owners then sold the property to Becovic Management. I asked for a copy of my executed contract to ensure the language hadn't changed with the ownership, and to ensure the Resident's Option to Terminate Early was still included. It was, and dictated that the resident must provide 60 days' notice in order to exercise. I sent this notice in mid-November, in writing, and they said they would only accept my notice if I paid the 2 months' sum as well as an additional 2 months' sum for "defaulting" on my lease and wouldn't allow me to terminate my lease per the exact word of the contract.The lease contract explicitly states "The parties also agree that Resident's Option is Resident's contractual right separate and apart from the lease, *is not a breach of, or default under, the Lease..."They are trying to say concessions are due to be repaid due to defaulting on the lease, however the contract explicitly states this option is NOT a default, and thus are not allowing me to commence the 2 months' early termination term. They are now threatening to evict, which is default, in order to collect the $0.00 in concessions that the contract allowed for.I will continue to spread this awful experience on all reviews and social media until the situation is rectified. I have attached the relevant photos of the contract that states 1) this isn't default, and the Option to Terminate Early supersedes the contract, and 2) that I didn't receive the concessions as part of my contract, and nor are they due to be repaid per the contract because I am not defaulting on my contract.

      Thank goodness I didnt actually move into these apartments. ************************* works in the office and informed me I had an apartment. A few days later, ********************* the Property Director informed me it was a mistake as the apartment had water damage. No worries though ***** said she had another apartment she could give me for more money. Not super happy I agreed to one price and was given another, I reached out to someone higher, apparently they dont have cell phones, only email. Anyways, I spoke with ********************* the Regional Director, turns out they had nothing open at their 5 other properties or Notch for me at the same price I agreed to. Due to the mistake I will be virtually homeless, but they do NOT care. This company did not simply fail to meet my price range on an aparment. They entered an agreement with me for an apartment (which I have proof of) and they sent me a welcome home letter. Then four days later I was told that the only way I could have an apartment with their property at ***************** was to agree to pay more money for an apartment with the same layout as the one I was originally promised. I, at no point during our conversation, was ever offered any other placement at any other property ran by Becovic Management even though I suggested that as a possible resolution to a situation they created. The lack of integrity while trying find a home within this property and this management company was apalling and I stand by my choice to not recommend this property or any other property under Becovic Management.They were aware I had to be out of my current apartment. Not only this, but also aware I turned down another apartment to accept theirs, so I feel like they may have believed that I had no other option, which seems predatory and extortive. This was not just a mistake on their end, this was a life altering event. After everything, I posted a review with the company. They are sorry they were unable to find an apartment in my price range Although, AGAIN, the issue is not that they do not have an apartment in my price range, its that they agreed to offer me an apartment for one price and changed that offer to a higher price when I had no other choice. I was informed by ***** that someone else will gladly pay that price. The response from Becovic is quite frankly classist, condescending, and lacks any responsibility on their end. To add, I am on the list for another apartment complex by Becovic, the Springs. During the mist of all this, I was informed by the Property Director here that they do in fact have an open 1 bedroom open for leasing.
