I had to have my engine replaced, and They found me one from God knows where that has been through God knows what. After the shop put the used engine in my car, I have had nothing but problems. A week after I picked it up from the shop, I caught a glimpse of the oil light. Thank God I stopped to look and added 2 quarts of oil or I wouldve locked up my engine running it out of oil. Turns out, ******* filter housing assembly has a crack so Im leaking oil. Even though that part came with the used engine, this company denied the claim. Its a $700 fix for me. Fast forward a couple more weeks I have a misfiring fuel injector. A fuel injector that came with this used engine that this company provided to the repair shop. Again a $700 fix for me as they denied this claim too. They claim its because these are not parts that they normally fix. The repair shop tried to explain to them that these parts came with this engine that they sent. Their response is we paid you to put in only the engine block. Sometimes these engines come with extra parts and you shouldnt be using them. The repair shop is saying thats not how it works. Youre supposed to use the parts that come with the engine, youre not supposed to mix match old parts with new parts and used parts. **************** is rude, the process is terrible to make a claim, they take forever to give you an approval if they approve it. I am stuck paying for an Uber while its in the shop every time and I still have a car payment for a car Thats in the shop more than I drive it.Initial Complaint

I went to Vavoline on **** on ********************************************** on 8/11/23 to get an oil change. Everything seemed to appear to be fine I got my oil change and went about my day. On that same day later in the evening when I started my vehicle it began to smoke. I called valvoline the next day abs they told me they would have to talk to a manager and get back with me. I took my vehicle to be looked at by a dealership and was told that my oil was filled 3 quarts more then what it should be and it needed to be drained and redone. Again I called Valvoline and was told that I need to speak with a manager that never got back in contact with me. I had to pay to get my oil flushed and redone because my car was smoking. After doing that I again reached back out to Valvoline and also emailed them copies of my receipt showing what the issue was and what I had to get done. Today is 8/22/23 and no one has gotten in contact with me and my vehicle now is having more issues do to the mistake. It sad that no one has gotten back in contact with me and each time I call Im being placed on hold and waiting for the next representative this is horrible and heartbreakingInitial Complaint

On December 22nd I took my car for a routine oil change at Valvoline on ***** in *******. There was nothing wrong with my vehicle prior to the oil change. On December 23rd on the way to family Christmas on the west side of ************, my car made a horrendous screeching noise as I was exiting off of the interstate. I then had warning lights come in indicating Oil Pressure Low and Turn Off Engine Immediately. Luckily there was a gas station right off the interstate and I did just that. I called Valvoline and no answer. I then called corporate. The corporate rep tried calling the store as well but they had apparently closed early. She said she would call them the following day. I went to the Valvoline store the following morning as they were opening to let them know what happened. The store key **************************** was very helpful and immediately started calling his boss. I sat at the store for close to an hour waiting of some sort of feedback and told ******* to just give me a call when they figure something out. Hours later I was contacted by ***** who stated he was trying to get a tow but it was impossible as it was Christmas Eve. My car sat at the gas station until December 26th when Valvoline towed it back to their store. ***** called me and indicated I had a blown head gasket and the oil and coolant had mixed together. I said shouldnt you have seen that before you did the oil change and he stated he guessed they just missed it. He said it was no fault of the oil change and closed my claim. I called corporate again and had them reopen it. They instructed me to get it towed and have a diagnostic done on it. It was towed to ******* where they indicated there was no oil in the car, no oil cap to be found, and that my engine was completely blown. ******* then called ***** to let him know their findings. ***** said the cap was on it when it got there but they must have forgotten to put it back on. COMPLETE NEGLIGENCE. My 2nd claim was the again denied by *****.Initial Complaint

December 22nd, 2022 I pulled into Valvoline for an oil change with no issues in the car. The kid working at Valvoline seemed a bit off and per putting a tester on the battery said that the battery was charging low. He then proceeded to put on a charging unit and hooked it up backwards. This caused all power in the car to cease. It blew my starter relay and ac/heater blower/radio. I spoke to the manager and he got very argumentative. He told me they can push me out and I need to get my own tow. There was a storm coming too which made this situation more frustrating. When we pushed the car out of the well the manager, *****, then got apologetic with me. He said he should not have talked to me that way in the garage. He said his dad had been in the hospital the night before and they were slammed heading into near freezing temperatures / storm. He apologized more than once so I let down my guard. I should have demanded that they tow me to the dealership but instead I said my wife was already on her way over and I would go see what a starter relay costs at AutoZone since ***** had said that is the fuse that was likely blown in their garage. The new starter relay fuse got the car running again ($56), but there was no power to the radio or ac/heat. That cost me $360 bucks at a mechanic. Unfortunately I have heard of someone else also recently dealing with a similar issue at this location. They were left with an issue as well and Valvoline oil change took no accountability or hasnt offered any kind of resolution which is ironically the same in our case. I dont know all the details of their exact issue but I saw the Valvoline attendant mess up my car with my own eyes and experienced it go completely dead in their garage yet they leave it to the managers discretion who claims no responsibility? He also claimed no responsibility in the other incident as well. Seems like a real people / attitude problem at this location from the work being done and ethics.
