On October 6, 2023, I took my 2015 Subaru Forester to Fort Wayne Subaru (now ******* ***************** for a routine oil change and tire rotation. The tech broke off 2 wheel studs, rendering my car unsafe to drive. Then the dealership wanted me to pay for the repair, which they admitted was their fault. I refused, and subsequently took my vehicle to ***** the following Monday to have the repair done. I did not trust the tech to make the repair. I also felt the repair should have been offered at NO CHARGE to me. I purchased my Forester from this dealership in 2019 and have been a faithful customer these past 4 years.Business response

On aug 30 2023 I purchased parts from Fort Wayne Subaru. First spark plugs then ran back to get a gasket that was leaking(near spark plug ) also. The parts guy told me to also get 5 quarts of oil gasket and filter due to the chance the oil could drain from the car during gasket change. He said you can just bring it back iif you dont use it, Well i did return it approx 330 pm friday sept 1 2023. at the dealership i took the oil(4 quarts I kept one) 1 gasket i oil filter back to the parts counter, The parts guys printed me up the attached invoice and sent me to the cashier. Well the cashier said she could not do refunds and would have to call ******* to process it, she called as i should at the window and left a voice message. no answer. ??? so she told me she would tape it to her desk and keep trying and call me when it was done. I never got a call, I called Saturday sept 2 and was told it was taped to the desk and they would call me when it was done. Well no call. So i called this morning and was told they have no idea what im talking about. And i was asked if i was sure i made a puchase there and not some where else. This was put on my charge card so i will contact my card company also. I am frustratedBusiness response

I received a refund check(by mail) Saturday sept 30 ,23 from ******* for A FULL refund. I tried to respond but the case was closed. Thank you so much for your help in this matter!!!!
