I received a collection letter in June 2021 from a ********* Associates, PA in the amount of $1140.00. I did not know what it was for so I wrote on the **** what was it for and when. I then received a collection letter and a letter of explanation from Business Revenue Systems **** indicating that this was for a chest x-ray done on 11/2/20. I am a bit confused because I was hospitalized on 11/2/20 for Covid at ***************** hospital. Since I have received a letter in December 2020 from the hospital indicating that I do not have a balance due to the hospital and that they were clearing my ****. I was never charged nor sent a **** from the hospital. The x-ray was done in the hospital. I never received a **** and contacted St. ***** and was told that the x-ray department is within the hospital and not separate. Why am I receiving a collection letter for something that I was never charged for? I have no balance to the hospital.Business response

Business Revenue Systems, Inc. represents ********* Associates, PA. This is the radiology practice that bills separately from the hospital. Although the **rays were performed at the hospital, the images were forwarded to ********* Associates for reading and diagnoses. All other pertinent information has been provided to **************** as evidenced by her attachments.
BRS would ask **************** to provide a copy of the letter from the hospital showing no balance due. Once received BRS will review this account to see if ********* Associates will make any adjustment to their separate charges.

Attached to this response is a copy of the original statement for the radiology charges that have been listed for collection at BRS. The address was incorrect on this statement and the account ultimately aged and was listed with BRS for collection. The statement copy provided is to show this is not a scam.
We would once again ask to see the documents provided by the hospital showing they adjusted their balances off and/or made consideration on their account. If we have those documents we can review them to see if ********* Associates will make any adjustments to this account, which is NOT part of the hospital account or billing.
