              Requested warranty replacement from ********** for their counter-top ice maker. Model EFIC235, Serial *****************, purchased at ******** in ********, ** on 1/16/2022 Called ********** customer service, they referred me to **********************, through whom they subcontract. I called, and their automated system hung up on me 4 times. ********** provided no support. I emailed, multiple times, and requested contact to no avail. I got standard responses and complained about their service level in response. Was told to ship the unit back to them at my expense which I did on 1/24/23 at 11:15 am CST. At 1:00 pm CST on the SAME DATE i received an email that they have "successfully received the package," which is an absolute lie. A replacement or refund is being issued, and could take 2-3 weeks (replacement) or 4-6 weeks (refund). I DEMAND THAT MY $180 IN SHIPPING BE REFUNDED ALONG WITH MY REPLACEMENT MACHINE, AND DEMAND THAT THEY BE INVESTIGATED FOR TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE.
