I took an old Craftsman table saw motor in to have repaired. Was told it was not worth the money. They sold me a new motor for $195. A few months later it stopped working. I was told by the people at Wagner that they not find anything wrong. They say they checked the start switch and found no problems. They wanted to sell me new motor for over$400 that would be better and credit me with $95 dollars. I took the motor to Irish elec. in ********* **** and was told the start switch was bad. Had them fix at the cost or $64.35. ************Business response

*** - We are so sorry you had additional issues with this motor. As was stated when you brought it back to our shop - this type of open motor, although used on tools quite often, may have issues over time with saw dust and debris interfering with proper functioning of the switch. We cleaned the motor out and it test ran OK at our shop. The best avenue to eliminate this issue would be the more expensive tool duty motor we recommended (about $400 minus the credit of $195 for the original motor). At that time you did not want to pursue that option.
If you would like to visit our office and bring a copy of the appr $65.00 bill from Irish Electric, we would be happy to reimburse you for that expense.
