In the middle of January I had dropped off a side by side fridge for repair and explained it needed repaired - just a water leak. It was explained *** took our information ownership and their staff (****) unloaded it off the trailer. On March 3rd, he went back on to see why we hadn't been contacted that it was done and ready for pick up.***** (one of the owners) spoke to him and said he had no knowledge of the fridge. *** also said she didn't know about it either. Then later after ****, his staff acknowledged he unladed the fridge, all of a sudden he knew which it was. They disposed of my fridge! This was NOT dropped off for scrap. I have had this company repair many appliances for me in the last year and I have never had them take any of them for scrap - I have ALWAYS kept the unrepairable item and scrapped it myself. In addition, when we had dropped off our dryer to be repaired it took them several months to fix that as well, so I just figured they were backlogged and would contact us when the fridge was done.Today, March 16th I called and spoke to ***** to talk about getting compensation for my fridge they got rid of without my consent. He was quite rude, talked over me and then hung up on me.Regardless of his employee's error, this is NOT a way to treat a customer and retain business. I would like compensation for my fridge. A picture of it can be shared if needed. I paid $250.00 for it at an estate sale and I would like $250.00 paid to me.

I am sorry to hear about this misunderstanding ,I have spoken to employees involved and our troubles are do to communication, when the gentleman brought in refrigerator he indicated he was dropping it off. *** mentioned to him we charge $15 to take in refrigerators,he responded he wasn't paying he worked for landlord ,***** helped unload and asked what he was doing with it also he said dropping it off.that put your refrigerator in line to be inspected parted out or salvaged.we take in appliances everyday and when service  is requested we right up a ticket with problem that needs resolved and name and phone number of customer, none of these things happened I would place that blame on gentleman who brought in refrigerator.we would be willing to give customer a $100 credit to compensate her loss.If in the future any problems with transactions can be directed to me **** I am the sole owner of A-1 Marks normally I would talk to customer before a complaint is filed this case was brought to my attention the day of complaint my cell # ************

I am rejecting this response because:

I called  your store and asked for the owner.  ***** told me he was one of the owners.  He was very rude, hung up on me twice and wasn't apologetic at all.  I know for a fact my driver did not state he wanted to scrap the fridge.  I have proof that anytime you have worked on anything for me and it was beyond repair, I have ALWAYS kept the bad item to dispose of it myself.  This shows that I have consistent behavior with my appliances.

I understand this was a mix up.  I would like $250.00 whichi is what I recently paid for that fridge.  I don't want a store credit.  I don't need another appliance since I alreadypurchased one to replace what yoiu scrapped or sold on me.

I kindly request a check be made out to me for the $250.00 I am now out.

I am sorry your straff chose not to tell you of this issue as it happened.  That is something you will have to take care of on your own.  I asked for the owner, to give you the opportunity to make things right before I went here to file a complaint.  ***** claimed that title stating htere were two owners - him and ***********
