    On 07/08 between 6-8 pm we received a quote for a roof. We were told if we waited the price would be approximately ****** but if we agreed today the price would be $12,800. The original contract stated that we had a 3 business day right to cancel. We told the salesman that we did want to get at least one additional quote during this three day period. Once the original contract was signed the salesman told us it would be in our best interest to sign an agreement to expedite the process. What He did not tell us was that this agreement also waived our right to cancel, and also included a 25% fee if services were cancelled.On 7/10 at approximately 2pm I went to the home pro office in attempt to cancel our contract. This is when I was told that I cannot cancel or I would have to pay the 25% fee. I was shown a copy of the contract that was signed. I explained our side of the situation and asked if it could be reconsidered. They stated that the items have already been ordered and that we were out of luck. I did tell them I would not be recommending their business after this interaction. The owner said luckily their business does not rely on that. I believe this was a deceitful business practice as the salesman spent his time building our trust talking about his religious values and doing right by his customers. He shared that with us being the same age as his children and he would want them to be taken care of in the same fashion. I also believe that our order was not officially submitted as when I walked into the office my contract was within the ***** of contracts the front desk person was entering.At this point in time we have not paid anything to Home Pro, but was told we would receive and invoice for the 25% If you could please assist in a resolution it would be greatly appreciated.     We ordered 3 windows on July 18, 2023. One replacement, two construction. We JUST got our last window installed on May 5, 2024. This has been an absolutely terrible process full of lies. We were originally told we would have these windows October 2023. Then, we were supposed to have them in February. When I received a text from our project manager on Feb. 7th, he said he had received our windows and would be in contact with us in a few days to set a date to install them then I never heard from him. I tried reaching out to him via text two more times, and he did not respond back until March 4th.From there, our first attempt was canceled due to a sick installer. The second attempt was due to lack of communication between the installer and *****. The installer thought they were just doing a measuring. The third attempt, we got our replacement window on March 29th. Again, more miscommunication as the installer was not told the other two windows were new constructions.Our project manager did his best to avoid our texts and calls as we tried to figure out when our other windows could be installed. Our second window was installed on April 24th and the third on May 5th.To get to this point, we talked to our installer directly for the most part because he was more informed and actually answered our calls. The point of hiring a company to do something like this is for the convenience. This was anything but convenient and we spent most of our time babysitting our project manager.
