I purchased a one night class (Invoice #***) from this business under the premise that it was just a beginner class. When I got there I found out that it was a more specified class.I then asked for a refund ($45) and was told that she would only credit that fee towards the purchase of one of her classes.Note that no where on the glass webpage was there a definition of how a refund would be handled in a case such as this. I do not wish to purchase one of her classes.

She did in fact purchase this class.  She had to sign up on my website, literally click on the specific class and there is a detailed explanation of what happens during this or any of the other classes I offer.  My webpage also states that any refund for classes will be in full if you contact me within two (2) business days prior to the class.  This policy stands for every class and is posted on every class.  ****** not only purchased the class, but showed up and then decided she didn't want or need the class.  I explained my policy on refunds and offered her to put towards another class the amount she paid, $45.  That is not my policy, but I was trying to get her out of my studio that evening.  She asked me a lot of questions, in front of other students, and took up class time doing so.  I finally said "look, I need to get this class started, these people have paid to be here as well".  She said, because I answered her questions, she felt that what she paid for the class was sufficient for the answers and time she took up.

After she, finally left, there was silence with everyone.  One lady proceeded to say, "that was the weirdest thing".   We had a discussion about it and I completely agreed, it was very strange.

She contacted me via text, just prior to her filing this complaint.  This was last fall, and I had not heard anything from her until now.  I tried calling her.  At first I had no idea who or what this person was even talking about.  I feel that she has harassed me through texts and finally told her to stop.

I have had to refund in the past but never have had any problems with anyone.  They understood the policy and followed it.

It is unfortunate that she does not want to follow my policy or what I offered to do for her when she showed up to my studio the evening of the class. As it stands now, I will no longer offer her that money towards a class, she has declined that offer and I accept that from her.

      Thank You

      Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
The events as they occurred, are blurry according to ************* recollection.

(I have documented every encounter with her to date) And can forward all communications with her,

including the nasty texts she responded with just recently.) I asked for the $45 refund almost a year ago.

No respectful business that I have ever worked with has EVER refused a refund - even one as small as $45.

She clearly enjoys making money off clientele for doing nothing to earn it. If this is how she proposes to do business,

I wouldn't want to of worked with her anyway.

My company policy is written on each class page, stating, Refunds will be given with a full two (2) day notice.  I will not be changing my policy.
