    Purchased a vehicle from Big City Cars in *******************. I have put less than 4000 miles on this vehicle since my purchase and have already had to have the transmission replaced. Now, one month later, I have the same code coming up. I was told they replaced the transmission at Big City because it would take too long to get into the dealership, but now my warranty has been voided. On top of this, I have been blamed for cold starting my vehicle, which is not the case, and they are pinning all the blame on me when I was sold a lemon. They have made no effort to make things right, have avoided my calls and treated me poorly in person, and just today I was told to go f*** myself when I came in upset that the same issues were continuing after a new transmission was installed. This company has zero understanding of professionalism, nor do they empathize with the customers they have bamboozled. As soon as they were paid, they couldnt care less.

    I purchased a 2021 ****** Rogue on May 4, 2024 from Big City Cars in Ft. *****, *******. There were several issues with the advertising of the car being blatantly incorrect (For example, their ad said it was a non-smoking car, but it obviously wasn't). I was actually okay with that, because the price was okay and I know that issues with used cars are "As Is." I put a $500 deposit down to hold the car until we could get a cashier's check for the agreed on price. When we test drove the car, I noted the mileage was very similar to the sticker and paperwork (******) which I was happy about. But when we picked up the vehicle on May 8, 2024, the mileage was over ******. I called **** from Big City Cars who was our salesman to ask about the 815 mile difference when the car was supposed to be parked when we put the deposit down on May 4th. He said that sometimes the mileage in the computer varies because that is the mileage when the car was brought onto the lot. I asked if he was saying that having an incorrect odometer reading on the official purchase paperwork and title was standard practice and he said yes, within ***** miles. He also said he had security cameral video of him parking the car and sitting there between the 4th and the 8th. After some more discussion about how 815 miles was a reasonable amount for service department work and test driving on a car that has been on the lot for less than a month, he referred me to the General Manager who proceeded to say things like, "You want us to test the car thoroughly before we sell it to you, don't you?" and "Every car dealership in the country does it this way." I have to say that I have purchased several new and used cars in my life and I have never had a dealership so blatantly lie in advertising and discussion. I will not be buying a car from them again and I will be letting everyone I know about the deceptive practices of Big City Cars regardless of whether every dealership in the country does this or not!

We take great pride in our process to make sure that our vehicles are accurately described in our online listings as well as ready for the public to purchase our vehicles. Unfortunately, in this case it appears that we dropped the ball. We are so sorry for this inconvenience. Normally, if a vehicle is found to be previously smoked in, we change out all vehicle filters, ionize the vehicle, as well as disinfect the interior. Regarding the miles on the vehicle, it was listed with the miles when we purchased it. Our service technicians drive a minimum of 45 miles during the inspection process to ensure we know everything about the vehicle that *** need repaired before selling. Also, we own 6 different locations in Northeastern *******, and 1 vehicle can be transferred to each location before being sold thus adding more miles. We assure you that upon purchase of the 2021 ****** Rogue from Big City Cars, our staff nor anyone else put any additional miles on your vehicle. We apologize again for the multiple inconveniences that this has caused for you. We would be happy to detail your vehicle for you as a show of our appreciation of shopping a locally owned family dealership.
