My experience at this dealership was a learning experience. I am newly divorced and establishing my own credit. I was is desperate need of a new to me car and made the mistake of trusting both the salesman and the dealership. I bought the car on a Friday and Sunday (2days later) an error message came on but did not stay. So I had a diagnostic ran on the vehicle and brought in the error codes on that Monday with some concerns the person who did the loan paperwork took me outside to the vehicle and asked to see the codes and when I said that there was nothing right now on the dash. He went on to tell me that the diagnostic had to be wrong it would only show codes if it stayed on the dash. I also let him know that the transmission had a leak and was low and was there anyway they could add some (remember i had only had it for 2 days) I was told they would have to order it they didn't have the right kind since it was a Subaru dealership. ( never mind that they have all kinds of non-subaru vehicles for sale on their lot and work on those same cars in their garage as they come on the lot when things need done like the ******* brake job and new tires that I was reminded over & over again that they had done to my vehicle prior to me purchasing it.) They however offer to re-do my loan to include 3 yr warranty at my expense. I agreed to that for my peace of mind but the very next the battery no longer worked and had to be replaced. I asked if there was some kind of help that could be given and I was told "NO sorry that is the chance you take with used" further implied that when I had the diagnostic ran that is what did damage to the battery. The whole experience made me angry and frustrated but most importantly made it clear to me that this dealership was not one that I would refer anyone to nor use in the future. Purchased a used vehicle in late September and within a week had major engine trouble to the point of needing to replace the engine ($5-7K). The dealer did not disclose the engine damage and did not offer a competitive warranty package at time of purchase. Following up with the dealer was met with double digit calls to both dealer and title company with no response or follow up to me either with email or telephone. Had to drive to dealer to speak with someone who could help me and then only received a potential reimbursement of $1K. As of 37 days into purchase, we still have not received the paperwork on the title. Very poor service across the board and suspect future issues down the way.Review from Jerrica C.

I did not end up getting a vehicle at this place for a few reasons, the biggest one being a "salesman" *****************************. We went there to look at and decide if we wanted to buy a car, no pictures online yet so we hadn't seen this car in person. I'll admit we did have to change the appointment time with ***** because things we had planned beforehand took longer than expected. We didn't end up getting the car and that could be a whole other review to be honest, but 3 days later ***** sends me a text asking me if I'm still interested in the car. My response was "No thank you, we found another one that we decided to purchase". We had found one from a private seller that was nicer and the same price. His response was disgusting and totally unprofessional. This was his response through text. "I know you left with a bad taste in your mouth but you can really only blame yourselves for coming in 2-3 hours late for your appointment and then taking another 30 minutes talking outside before you finally decided to go ahead with it. Sometimes you just gotta accept the blame yourselves instead of pointing fingers. Just saying..."My response previously said NOTHING about blaming anyone for us not buying the car, even though his attitude was garbage throughout the process. He told us if we wanted to buy the car we had to include this add on of over ***** bucks that included things like windshield replacement, and discounts on cleaning. We have a guy that we use for cleaning and we have full coverage for windshield replacement so we wanted that taken off and he told us we couldn't. When we persisted he said he would have to approve that through his boss first. Are you kidding me? Then we weren't able to stay to get the financing complete but said we would put down ***** bucks to hold the car for a couple days when we could come back and finish the loan papers. ***** said they don't hold cars for anyone even with money down. On Thursday, January 27th, my husband brought his 2016 outback to your Lima road location. The purpose of this visit was to switch the regular tires to snow tires, do an alignment, and an oil change. We have done this before at your location about 2-3 times. On Saturday, January 29th, my husband was driving, and the car was having a major issue and was almost to the point of not being able to drive home because one of the tires blew out. Luckily, he was close to home, and was not on a highway or this could have been disastrous. He was able to make it home, and call AAA who was quite horrified at the condition of this tire, but put they put a spare on. He then was able to drive to a REPUTABLE tire shop and get new snow tires to replace the ones you JUST charged us $300 to put on and align. My issue is this: YOUR service department installed, aligned, rotated these tires and had absolutely no problem charging us $300+ for this service and failed to mention any issue with the tire! As a result we have completely lost all faith in Subaru service department, and your products (which we dont even know if you installed OUR tires or a faulty imitation product- because these were purchased through Subaru a few years ago, stored properly and should not have had an issue where the tire completely Rotted)The car now has 100k miles on it, we trusted you with it, and unfortunately we will not be returning, or purchasing a new 2022 model from you. This is not only a customer dissatisfaction issue- it is beyond that. We should all consider ourselves extremely lucky that your total lack of attention to this very obvious detail did not cause a more serious issue, and that my husband and I are safe. Since then I have called, emailed, did an online chat and their promises to address this are as good as their service department, worthless.Review from berrychilds

I dropped my car off there 4 weeks ago tomorrow to get the head gasket fixed. They broke some parts in my motor and let me know it would be months before they get those parts in. They then recommend a motor from a bear by junk yard they could put in to replace the motor they broke. I was told that they would have the motor in the next couple of days and I should be good to go. THat was two weeks ago and they still don't have the correct motor in the shop yet for my car.
