** **** and I stayed at the cabin 2 nights 10/23 & 10/24 of 2021. The advertised hot tub never reached water temperature above 75 degrees F the first 24 hours there. I complained and was told water was changed but it would heat up in a few hours. We were unable to use it for first 24 hours. That was disappointing but I would not have filed a complaint over it. My complaint is the owner has charged the damage deposit of $250 because they claimed we damaged the furniture (couch and chair) which is not true. We never even used that furniture because we spent 10 hours away from the cabin each day in the nearby casino and only slept in the bedroom when at the cabin and used hot tub second night. We never had any one else over as well. The furniture was extremely old and outdated and could not be sold at a ******** store. ** **** and I flatly and vehemently disagree with the claim we damaged anything. We believe they may be upset because we called when we checked in to ask about the hot tub not working properly. And as a result we didn’t tip house keeping as we were basically ignored. But in any event we never caused any damage and were only there to sleep because French Lick Casino hotel was booked to capacity. I will be instructing my attorney to also send the cabin a cease and desist for the damages as well unless instructed by BBB to pause until BBB attempts to resolve the matter. I did call the owner myself to dispute the charges when I was notified by email of them. But she (***** ****** ************) ignored my protest.
