On Feb. 12th 2021 my wife and I signed a contract with **** Andresen now Andresen Sunrooms formerly Patio Enclosures Andresen, Inc. My first complaint is we were told and in writing the job would be completed by Memorial Day. The job was held up because the concrete company was behind. We were told he was the "best in the business" and that was the reason long delay. I had my hot tub moved out to the middle of my yard on May 4th at my expense even though **** said he would have his crew move it. The hot tub wasn't moved back in until the end of June. We were 100% satisfied with the sunroom addition to our home. The problem is the concrete around the patio. **** hired ********* Concrete to do the work. after the concrete was finished I noticed the walk way was not sloped away from the 4 in patio. I pointed this out to **** and also **** at ********* concrete. **** told me there is always small puddles on concrete. I mentioned the icing of the large puddle in the winter. **** came out and I suggested sawing the stress lines and hopefully the water would drain. I have been told by 2 different concrete companies that the puddle is not acceptable work especially in this area, they both agree it wasn't sloped away from the patio. On November 14, I texted both **** and Bar with pictures of the large puddle. No return message or call, so I called November 28th. He told me to contact ****. I told **** that I hired him and he hired ********* Concrete. All the same, I had also contacted **** and **** at the same time via text. He has no interest in helping me again telling me it was just a small puddle and put salt on it. To my knowledge, not once did **** come out to inspect the work performed by his company. Nor did he come out to see my complaint. The only way I will be satisfied is to have a complete redo on the section of concrete affected. Obviously not now but something in writing to that effect in the spring of 2022 and NOT by ********* concrete.

This is my first inquiry in 34 years as a BBB accredited business. First, I'm glad to hear that you are 100% satisfied with the new sunroom we built on your home. The concrete for the sunroom floor, the foundation, the outside patio, the sidewalk to your pool and the sunroom apron were all poured to code. I understand you asked ********* Services to cut a seam in the apron to drain the rain quicker, which they did. My only caveat on having another concrete company saw cut and tear out the apron and re pour would be the unintended consequences of the possibility of having cracks appear on the sunroom concrete floor and foundation.

I am rejecting this response because:

I see nothing to accept. All **** is saying is I may have problem with the patio cracking. I would think the company that does the redo would accept that responsibility.

It doesn't say he will pay for the redo, who will do it , nor when it be completed.

      Please respond.

The concrete apron was an excellent pour. If you decide to  hire  another concrete contractor to tear out and re pour the apron, make sure that they will take full liability and responsibility for the entire sunroom  project and have that company put it in writing for your records. Once again, my suggestion it to leave it as is.

I am rejecting this response because:

I am rejecting this response because:

**** Andresen has not done anything to resolve the issue!! It is NOT a perfect pour. I am with the understanding any flat work should have a water drain off.  This is more than a small puddle. My level shows the concrete is actually sloped toward the patio and definitely NOT away from the patio. Is **** accepting liability if anyone slips and falls on ice this winter or next.

So it is my understanding that a poor concrete job is now my responsibility. To leave it alone and put salt on it?? I do not believe any concrete person would agree with him, accept maybe the company that poured the concrete.

If I don't get a satisfactory resolution in the next rebuttal, I will take my problem to legal council.
