We had a fire in ov 2020 we hired this company to completely restore our house. They were paid almost $300,000 to do so. The issues started early when they painted our house the wrong color. We had 3 different points of contact due to termination by the company. The owner ************************* straight lied to us several times about a completion date. We were not told in advance time or enough time to get the cabinets that we wanted. When we finally got to move in 2 months past the due date when we came home no one from the company was at the house to show us anything we were alone. The front sidewalk had not been poured, one of the windows and screens are broken we had a floid in our garage on the 3rd day and the yard is a complete mess bricks rocks nails glass etc all in the yard the owner told us ge had used the yard money for another project which was not approved we have been back home for 5 months and the yard and window and screen have not been fixed and ****** will not respond to my messages. And the garage floor has plaster spots everywhere.Initial Complaint

On November 9, 2021 I contracted Express Restorations to repair my house that was struck by a vehicle. They did an emergency board up and replaced my garage door and opener. That is all they have done. The brick, siding, lights, drywall and landscaping have not been repaired. I call and leave messages but do not get return calls. The contract stated all repairs would be completed by February 9th. Obviously this hasnt happened. They have been paid in full for what they have done and are holding my $1000 deductible check. My garage has been under 32 degrees on many occasions and I have water softener pipes that I have been exposed and I have been concerned they might freeze due to the lack of part of a wall and no insulation. I have had to stuff a tarp in the area where the soffit is missing to keep the wind and animals out. They are totally disregarding me and this is my first step in getting this resolved if you cant help me I will need to seek legal counsel.Business response

We have addressed the customers concerns up to this point and have done all of the work that we are able to do without insurance approval. We are in communication with this customer on next steps. Thank youInitial Complaint

Hired this company to rebuild our home after losing it and everything else in a fire and have paid in full the entire amount quoted. Everything is mostly finished and we were able to move back in but the dishwasher remains unable to be used, the counter tops are not bolted down, the garage has no electricity and the kitchen backsplash looks like a child did it. I have called the company several time, was told they would send someone, however, of all those time only twice has someone came out. The first time the worker was here 5 min, looked at the garage, said he was going for parts and would be back. That's was almost 4 weeks ago. The second time the same thing. The worker was here 5 min looked at the dishwasher and counter said he was going to get parts and would be back. That was 2 weeks ago. My family has already lost quite a bit and these guys have already been paid. I don't think it's too much to ask that they fulfill their obligation to me as I have to them.Business response
