So, we come in with the idea of making a purchase and to also potentially sell a firearm. After standing around in the firearm department next to the registers for about 10 minutes, one employee at the counter decided to make his way over when we asked if anyone was available to give us a quote on what we were selling. He said the the manager had to look at it. As we waited, they were close enough for hear the dialog. They were talking about an optic, and long after that topic was over, continued talking about various other things in their daily life and irrelevant past experiences. Seriously, horrible customer service! At this point we had been standing there for half an hour, but I wanted a well-rounded idea of their service so we stayed. Finally, the two finished talking about all their stories, and the manager walked past us to speak with the other employee at the other end of the counter. They started cursing and belittling a different employee that was off the clock that day. Still, without saying anything to us, the manager now begins going through the case. I look at him and say, "Hope you've been having a great week so far." Where he replies, "Just another day and another year", and proceeds to research the item we brought in. You can really tell when someone hates their job. Eventually, I ask, "What are your thoughts?" Where the manager replies, "Well, I dont know anyone looking to buy this right now." When I ask, "You have to know someone off the top of your head that wants to purchase it immediately in order to buy it? Customers come in all the time and this is a popular well-known brand." He didnt know how to have a proper conversation, negotiate, have the ability to reason with, or really have important qualities a successful businessman should have. To be honest, it was the longest time to wait to not even get an offer. The staff for this company is very unprofessional, and I will tell everyone to go out of their way to shop somewhere else.
