I had tow brand new faucets installed and less then one season of use one started leaking, They came out and said it was not covered and had to pay again to have it replaced.Business response

First off, this was not a faucet issue. This was the customers hose bib.
On 9/2/21 we replaced 2 frost free hose bibs. There is only a 30 warranty on the workmanship of the install.
On 8/29/22 customer called and stated that one of the hose bibs was leaking. Hose bibs are not guaranteed. If a garden hose is left on the hose bib over the winter, the water collected in the hose will expand and contract with the weather. This then causes the pipe to the hose bib to do the same.
That being said we cannot guarantee a product where the customer is not going to do their part it ensure proper handling. Ie, removing the garden hose from the hose bib before wintertime.
