      metal roof installed end of January along with new gutters and suppose to be 60' of soffit, got about 6 ft. Flashing is not laying right rain is running between it and gutters, soffit is not attached and it is hanging down,(problem there is electrical box on inner wall is getting condensation) Called May 8 today is May 11 and not a word back. Did not leave why I was calling, but gave address and name. Had sent gutter people back once to intall a piece of flashing and rerun a section of the gutter and I was not happy considering I had to call them. He subcontracted them - he should have been the one to call them and should now. Everyone deserves a chance and they have had it, now I want the problem fixed including more of the 60 ft of soffit I didnot receive other than repairing the 6 ft. Also had given him the $500.00 off or free gutter guards - got neither, tried to sell me gutter guards for another *******. Just not a happy camper at the moment.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      Told him after the matter is handled we would go from there. Have not talked with the gutter guy yet.

      I had a metal roof installed for $13,000 dollars with a five yr. Workmanship warranty I have got a leak in the back part of the house. I have tried contacting this company a dozen times since the first of the yr. He is not responding, it's like he is blowing me off.i talked to the guy who sold it to us. He is no longer working for him because of this reason. He said many people are having the same issue, he won't stand behind his warranties or service agreements so he quit. I didn't spend this kind of money to be blown off on the first complaint. I hope you can help us resolve this issue. Thank you

      We had a complete roof removal and replacement completed in October 2022. We noticed an issue with the coverage (shingles not properly attached and ice guard/tar paper not completely covering all plywood) and notified ***** on December 12. ***** initially responded that he would send someone out to examine the roof, but no one came to the house. We have made numerous calls to ***** since that time and have not received any response.

      November 15, 2022 Roof Job Finished Had some issues that of course the business tried to say wasn't their fault -Siding came loose flapping in the wind; -Scratched Trim around garage door -Cracked Corner Trim; -etc -Patio damage -retaining wall was trampled and broken with equipment -siding not clipped together where they put the flashing (still not fixed)A lot of little things.Recently, as of yesterday, I noticed a water spot on our wall near our chimney. I can tell the water is coming through the area where the chimney is. The installers didn't flash the area well enough, so now I am dealing with an ongoing water leak when it rains outside. I sent a message to the business and can't get any response. That is the way things have been through the entire installation process. Now that we paid for the roof in November, they won't return messages. I would like the company to come out and finish the chimney flashing where the roof meets the chimney so we don't have any leaks. Seems reasonable due to the fact that we haven't had any leaks before we put the new roof on and we have lived in the house for 13 years.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      The problem was a leak in the roof where the chimney and roof line meet. I have no idea if they ever came out and fixed the issue. No response in regards to a date and time when they will fix the issue.

      Our vinyl siding has come loose once again after trying to get them to come out and fix the issue due to the roof install. They tried to fix the issue once before to no avail. I've received no response when this issue will be addressed.

      There is more siding that isn't reattached from the install on the side of our house. I tried to have the company do a final walk through with us after the initial install to point these issues out, but I can't get any response from the company.

      My complaint has been open for a few months and the situation with the roofing company still hasnt been rectified. It is a rainy day and now the roof is leaking again into the house. I am wondering what my next course of action is now that the company doesnt seem to be responding to the complaint.

      We had a boat house roof replaced and the house roof repaired. The quote given was over the initial cost that were given in case they ran into issues when repairing the house roof. They were given $2,000.00 upfront for material. It ended up they didn't need anything additional for the house roof, however, told me that I still have to pay the cost that included additional material. On top of all that, they put the wrong color shingles on the boat house and it was not what was chosen initially. They also did not bring all material needed and we were asked to go pick up some of the material - which was not credited back nor paid back to us. When I asked for a itemized invoice, I was told by LeRoy (the owner) that he doesn't run his business like that and does not give out itemized invoices showing what material was used, and the break down of the cost per labor, etc... and that he could not provide that to me. With not willingly giving an itemized invoice to show cost, and charging for extra material that ended up not being used, this business has something to hide in what they are charging and how they are charging it. With what he charged me, the labor rate came out to $633.00/ hr!!!! Since I would not agree to the bill, and this repair was being paid out of escrow, he contacted my lender and went around me to get paid. I am requesting an itemized bill to show what exactly was used and the cost and a refund for the difference that I should not have been charged. Also, there is an hour of labor that shouldn't be charged because they had to run to the warehouse to get the shingles for the house repair that the crew just sat and waited without continue to work. I feel this company has a lot to hide and does a lot of price gouging and cost hiding so that they make a larger profit than they should. The business and the owner are definitely not fair and honest. Overall, I am not a happy customer and will not ever recommend them to anyone.

      ***** we do hear your concern and we apoligies for anything wrong we might have done u but to our knowledge we have agreed on a price and thats wat u agreed to we charge per job on how many sq it is or wat work is involved we dont charge per hour rates sorry agian to hear your complaint our company doesnt want that from our customers u can reach out to us anytime for questions

      We contacted Schmucker for a quote and we're told ****** for a new asphalt roof, one sunroof, and 6inch gutters. Despite the many issues that occurred over the months this has taken to complete. My complaint is in regards to my sunroof. Schmucker evaluated my roof inside and out, **** agreed the run roof was something they could do. After the the old roof was tore off, they cut the outter hole and placed the sun roof. After weeks of waiting for them to complete the inside portion of my sun roof. The owner informed me that its not their specialty and that I should find someone else to complete the work. I had anothet company look at my sun roof, he informed me that the sun roof is not in the right spot and cannot be used based on where Schmucker placed it. My sun roof would have to be taken out, the hole re-roofed, and another hole cut out and placed in a different spot. I contacted ***** in order to fix the issue. He said he would. However it's been 2 weeks and I have heard nothing.

      August 2021 new roof (partial shingles/metal) put on during 3 days of stormy, rainy weather resulting in multiple ceiling water damage, 3 bedrooms, family room, + garage. Damage to my garage door, scratch + dent due to their ladder falling against it. ***** had the supervisor come out + touch up my ceilings with paint. It doesn't match, looks hideous, not to mention the oversprayed mess left in my garage + on garage door. Metal roof was not properly installed. ***** avoids my calls + texts. It's been 2 months and no resolution. He has been paid already. This has been a nightmare to say the least. Very unprofessional. Obviously something was off as ***** fired the whole crew that worked on my roof. I want everything fixed and the way it looked prior to them working on my roof. I want a knowledgeable crew to fix my metal roof. Tired of dealing with this.

      I have been talking to her and I told her I would get back with her with a painter. She has not called or texted me since we last talked. Im still going to meet with her.
