Hello, The day is May 26th 2024. It was my birthday, but the restaurant didn't know it. I decided to have breakfast with my daughter and a friend. I happened to look over and noticed my daughter was removing big onions from her skillet. Finally she said, "I can't eat this. My mouth taste like onions." I then asked the waitress if it could be remade. She said No, you have to pay for it. I then said that the onions were overpowering the dish. I then asked for the manager. The manager said that the cook has to put a specified amount of onions in the skillet. I asked if she could choose something else? She said it didn't matter because that skillet must still be paid for and if you don't pay I'll call the police. The manager left and a different manager came. She took the skillet away but brought it back. I then went over to the head manager and told her the other manager took the dish, waved it around, brought it back, sitting it down. The head manager said I will take it off the bill but don't come back in here. At that point I thought they were all mad. I never said that I wouldn't pay the bill, yet I was threat ened with police. I was not rude or using foul language yet I was told not to come back there. I told the manager that she could not tell me what to do. She said yes I can tell you what to do. I said no you cannot. She said, with a smirk on her face, yes I can, because I'm the manager. She spoke as if she was superior to me. I reminded her that she has a boss to. Did she threaten me with police because we are black people? I told her to go ahead and call the police, so I could tell them everything she said to me. She turned away and stopped taliking. I have a civil right to go to a place to dine as anyone else has. I should not be threatened with police just because someone says they are the manager. I did nothing to be told not to return there again. The manager was on a power trip and exercised her power to belittle me. I was Unjustly Threatened.Customer response

This is my Resolution. A complete refund for the breakfast purchase due to spoiling the breakfast and the atmosphere for my family on my birthday.

Last week, Sunday February 18th at approximately 3 pm, I took my daughter to eat there. I wanted to pay with a gift card my father gave me. The cashier ran it and said its not valid. Its a brown card and now white cards are used. Asked to speak to the supervisor and then manager with the same result. They said they went to a new system that cant read the brown cards. How is that my problem? There is no expiration date and says it can be used at any RTC. They said they could do nothing without the receipt. How many people do you know that keep their receipt? **** asked how much it was for and I said typically its $25. Didnt matter. It could have been $100, and I gave them an out with the $25. They said to call **** at the ************ store or the owner. After much back and forth the receipt is what they said was needed. In short, this is a great money making scam on their part. I asked what if they changed to a yellow card what would happen if people still had a white card. Do they turn them away too? I have been there many times with no problem. Never will I go there again because of their poor customer service!Business response

Weve refunded the full check amount from the image sent. Were also sending a gift card to the customer for an additional $25.
