Horrible experience! Scammers and complete liars. Sell nothing but junk vehicles. Say they will fix but will not! They are also doing fraud!! Stay away from Hobart Auto Sales!Hobart Auto Sales, Inc. Response

Conniving bunch of people, BEWARE BEWARE!! It is sad and unfair to ruin the lives or finance of hardworking people who are barely getting by, FRAUDULENT is an understatement, bad cars and liars. Promised not to mess with my credit score after I told them I wasnt searching for a car at moment, but they went behind my back chose a random car on behalf without my permission requesting hard pull on my credits from over 5 financial institutions ruining my credit scores and chances of getting a good bargain, I get a mail every week from different financiers rejecting my offer and impeding my creditHobart Auto Sales, Inc. We apologize in advance, the customer filled out wrong application online. We have both a no social prequalification and a credit application. The customer filled out the wrong application and that application was processed. The customer filled out the application online himself. That said, the customer is more than welcome to dispute the inquires and we will delete the inquires directly with nowcom and ************ and they can be removed. The customer was approved and is more than welcome to call us.

This dealership if you want to call it that will get you financing then when you ask about a Warranty they will give you a Vague response. Then when you need the Warranty you come to find out they lied and never gave you one. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.Review from Shazea N

Hobart Auto Sales is fast to address issues and more than accommodating when needed. I had an issue with my car purchase and it was fixed within weeks! No issues there after. I think that Hobart auto sales ain't s*** they sales u lemon cars they sold me a car with no windows and the passager door in the back doesn't close and I have a big power steering leak and I'm still paying a car note for my car this is ridiculous I think they should go to jail I then tried to take back my car a week after I got it they say they can't help me and they won't take the car back they know they in the wrong don't go to Hobart auto sales u will get your money taken and be stuck with a lemon I'm telling don't go there .Hobart Auto Sales, Inc. We apologize in advance about any problems you may have had. However, we sell thousands of cars per year and your experience is not consistent with our store policy and guidelines. All our cars are inspected pre and post sale from both the auction houses and here at the dealer. Also, customers are given warranties with the vehicle as well. Can you please call us at ************ because we looked up the name and couldnt find a name with that record. Sometimes people get us mixed up with Hobart ************** Sales but we are not them.Review from Laura M.

So my fianc bought jeep from Hobart Auto sale 9/22 and by 10/7 the Jeep was shaking check engine lights came on also the right light was busted and they told ** to take jeep across the street where they send ALL THERE CUSTOMERS CAR MECHANIC etc. we had the rental for 3 weeks told us come back the Jeep was fixed. We did this 2 more times. Now my fianc dOES not want the jeep! We called fianc company to complain. The fianc company wanted an itemized list to see what was actually fixed on jeep. Hobart auto sales said that they cannot give us an itemized list because they do not give out invoices .fianc company So they could see if they could help us . Then my fianc talk to the owner and he stated in front of his co worker let me have 1 more chance fix car and if not fix I will help you get in an other car ( which he did not do) that why when the 3 rd time finally my fianc picking up jeep cuss word was exchanged and the frustration from my fianc from ALL THERE LIES HOBART AUTO SALES EMPLOYEE PUSHED MY FIANCE INTO WALL ! My fianc never touched any one but all Hobart employees grabbed my fianc and police was called and Hobart dealer had my fianc arrested The jeep was returned to us and the next day check engine light came on.So there liars scammers and they do what ever it takes to take people hard earned money to get a Sale I saw the footage I told the owner your people touched him first . He stuttered and said Im good people I give to Africa and maybe he said that cause my fianc black , but what does that have to do with the fact you cheated him and scammed him and sold him a lemon I suggest we should ALL GET TOGETHER and WRITE THE ATTORNEY GENERAL ( I did) GET LAWYERS INVOLVED AND STAND UP FOR OURSELVES DO NOT LET BUSINESS LIKE THIS ONE CHEAT US. This situation is not typical out of the thousands of cars we sell yearly. Please advise the customer to call the finance company and warranty companies directly. Hobart police has advised us not to have any contact with this customer as they were on parole violation and was arrested for making threats and having warrants for their arrest. The customer was intoxicated at the time and even wanted to fight the police officers. The majority of the claims are exaggerated or not true. We have advised the finance company as well. We will advise the customer to contact the finance company now. They can help them get another car at an alternate dealer within the dealer network as long as they are current with the payments. I will never be back to Hobart auto sales ever again with them selling me a lemon! The car lasted 16 days before I statered experiencing problems. The turbo went out on the car first and then it ruined the engine with fluids leaking into it. Have been fighting with them for months to fix the problem but they have not yet resolved the issue. They have mechanics that work with them across the ************ their shady repairs and Send them all across the street for more business. The owner **** stresses how they are good people but they are scam artists so beware!Hobart Auto Sales, Inc. Response

We are sorry to hear that. We sell over **** cars a year and that experience is not typical whatsoever. The customer has been back and forth here since the summer and we did everything in our power to help him fix his car. At the end of the day, the customer was not satisfied and we wish we could do more. We did address his issues with the car and explained the maintenance and repairs that were done. We directed the customer to his finance company and his warranty company and they will work with him further.Review from Emily E

When you read reviews on this business, as long as you got lucky enough to buy a car without any mechanical issues, they are friendly and fine to do business with. However, the minute you have any issues with your car, the lying starts. And there is no communication with anyone who works there, starting with **** the owner. Within a few days of purchasing the car, we started having trouble with the alternator and called Hobart Auto Sales service department within the 2 weeks time period they allow for repairs to be made. The automotive shop, Best Exhaust, that Hobart Auto Sales the car to, gave it back to us within the same day saying nothing was wrong with it. In addition to the continued alternator issues, we now had no power steering, which was not a problem before we took it to them. After arguing with the Best Exhaust owner, they agreed to fix both these issues. We were told by the mechanics that we could request dealer parts, and after contacting the service department at Hobart Auto Sales, they assured us they would order dealer parts (which they never did). The car was in the shop for 10 days after which no one bothered to tell us they were finished with it for 2 days. When we finally found out and went to pick it up, the power steering was fixed, but the alternator was not. The same problems we had taken the car in for were still occurring and now the battery was acting up. At this point the service **** at Hobart Auto Sales began to ignore our calls, tell us things were being done that were not, and the manager, ******, was extremely rude and bullied me, a 24 year old female buying my first car We then began talk directly to ****, the owner of Hobart Auto Sales, who told us lies about where the car was being repaired and refused to answer questions or accept the facts we were telling him. In the end the car was still not properly repaired and there were more problems: a bent rim, air bag coils were ripped out, a horn and left turn signal not working,etcHobart Auto Sales, Inc. Response

We sell thousands of cars per year and have minimal bad reviews. We go out of our way to help people in both the car buying process as well as the repair if any are needed. We are a family run store and do our best. In this case, we could not make this customer happy and not fast enough. We offered alternatives and the customer refused. We have not spoken to the customer since. The customer is more than welcome to come back in the store and talk things out.
