I took my 2023 **** F-150 that has a ***** supercharger to get oil changed at **** Heuring. My truck having the ***** supercharger, which I bought and had Installed at the dealership I bought the truck from, means the truck now needs 5w-50 oil. **** Heuring put 5w-30 oil in my truck, which was also shown on their invoice. My truck clearly states on the oil cap that it requires 5w-50. I went into the dealership to try and talk about the situation, at which I was told they put the right oil, and they don't do ***** vehicles there, but they didn't turn away ************ engine in my truck blew, so I took it in to be serviced at ****** Motors **** of ****** which is where I purchased the truck and had supercharger installed. ****** Motors is who informed me of the problem, and also that ***** and **** are saying that is the reasoning for the motor blew. I would like to have **** Heuring at least pay for the damages to my trucks motor, or put me in a truck of equal or greater value.Business response

Hello there and thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We did indeed change the oil on ******************' F-150 as he ******. We used 5W-30 as he stated in his letter that we received from you. ****************** has a **** maintenance policy that he purchased at time time he bought his truck. I have included a copy of his maintenance policy for your consideration as well as **** Motor Company's specification sheet for his specific vehicle with his vin number highlighted. The specification sheet calls for us to use 7.75 quarts of 5W30 motor oil. If ****************** F-150 was altered from the factory specifications, and required a different grade of oil, he should have made us aware of that ahead of time. I certainly do not put the blame on ****************** for not letting us know, as if he had known, I am certain that he would have brought that to our attention when servicing his vehicle. He either was not informed of the requirement at the time of purchase or he simply forgot. Either way our position regarding this matter is that we assume no liability. When servicing **** Motor Company vehicles we simply use the specifications that they provide us and his vehicle identification number clearly states that his truck requires 5W-30. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.

Deceptive Purchase of an as is vehicle, They did not disclose major issues with the vehicle at the time of sale. I was told it was a good running vehicle but then after purchasing i had to pay for major repairs to be done in order for the vehicle to pass emissions. Repairs costing me near $3000 and the vehicle still not running due to more major repairs needed and i am unable to pay for them at this time. I am out money spent to buy vehicle, cost of repairs so far and no vehicle to drive.Business response

Subject: ********************This is J.R. ********************** and I am reaching out to you in response to a letter we received last week regarding ********************. Mr. ********* bought a $4,000 **** vehicle from us over a year ago. At the time of purchase he was told, and also signed paperwork to the fact, that this car was sold "as is with absolutely no warranty whatsoever". We do not have anything to offer Mr. ********* as all of the terms of this sale were agreed upon at the time of purchase in February 2022. Thank you for you time and consideration in this matter.
