This began Dec 31st 2022.I contacted the owner and asked for a quote and ETA of repair on my vehicle. The owner advised to bring to shop so he could view damage and determine price. On Jan 2nd, 2023 I dropped car off and on January 4th he advised the price would be $230 for everything (including the part) and car would be ready the next day on Thursday Jan 5th. On Jan 5th he contacted me and let me know he broke the part that was needed for my car and he would not receive another one until Jan 10th. Monday, Jan 9th I reached out to verify status and did not get a response. He contacted me the next day, Jan 10th and advised the part will now not be here until Thursday Jan 12th. At this point in time I expressed to him that due to me needing transportation I will need to come back and pick up my car and will bring back once he has the part in his possession. He agreed and on Jan 10th I picked up my car from the shop in the same manner I dropped it off in. Since he had the part on order he verbally asked me to pay $130 upfront in cash. I agreed with the expectation that the remaining balance would be due when job was complete. No receipt was given at this time. *** 10th I contacted owner and asked for ETA of part and was told it will arrive Jan 11th. *** 11th he contacted me and told me to bring car in for repair. Upon arrival they discovered the wrong part was sent and I will need to wait AGAIN for a new part to arrive on Tuesday Jan 17th now. I contacted owner on Jan 17th and did not get a response via text so I called. He did answer my call and stated part had not come. At that time I asked him for a refund of my partial payment due to the time it has taken with no repair. He stated he did not have the cash and hung up on me. When I called back he did not answer. I followed up with a text moments later requesting the refund which was "read" with no response as of date. I have now scheduled service with another repair company and no longer need this owners service.
