I dropped my company vehicle off for brake repairs on Nov 7, 2022. I received an email on Nov 15, 2022, of the items that were also suggested that I needed. Upon waiting days for my repairs to be completed, I received alerts from my GPS tracker that is on my vehicle alerting the vehicle was in motion and was not at the shop. This was on November 18, 2022, around 8:30 am. I gave the company a call asking about my vehicle and I was told that "they had to run errands" and they were using my vehicle so that's why my vehicle is not at the shop. I ask why are they using my vehicle and I demand it be returned to their shop so that I can come to pick it up. I was never notified that it was even ready for pick up so why are you guys driving customers' vehicles? I explained that I had proof that you guys had been driving my vehicle from 8:30 am till around 1:30 pm. My tracker has all the stops. did not get a response to that question. I went to pick up my vehicle and I was told other issues had come up with my vehicle. They would not return my vehicle without a payment of $1339.84. This did not include the new issues that were not going on before I left my vehicle with them. I called the police and when the police arrived they advised me that this would be a civil matter and that I could not get my vehicle back without paying that balance of $1339.84. I made the payment and got my vehicle back and multiple dashboard lights are on and I'm not able to safely drive the vehicle. I'm losing money daily. I have a courier business and a safe and dependable vehicle is the way I make money. I have receipts of paperwork of the issues before my vehicle was dropped off to this company and the documents they recommended to fix.
