March 17,2023, I made an agreement w/ Mattingly Concrete to removed/repour my porch, 4 sets of steps, sidewalk and patio & paid Mattingly $2,000.00 diagram and complete the job.Work on May 18,2023; constructing the forms for the porch, sidewalks, steps and patio. May 19, 2023 they poured the concrete. 3/20/23 they removed the forms. The forms did not follow the sidewalk diagram the panels did not match up with the front porch creating off-set of 5 inches, involving 5 sidewalk panels. The Operations VP said they would re-form & pour to correct the problems. They also told me they had made my front porch 7 inches wider than the diagram. Throughout the inspection, I identified many problems with the corners of the 3 sets of steps and the edges of the sidewalk. **** said I was being too picky and that the dirt and flowers would hide much of these problems. He agreed to send out a semi-retired employee to patch the corners. I did not pay the balance of $9,995.00.The repairs ended up creating even more problems. The 5 panels of sidewalk concrete that were repoured to correct the first problem were a different color. The patch work looked like a glob of concrete was added to the corners. They stated they could not guarantee the concrete color from one pour to the next, Since the correction was due to a problem they created this wasn't my fault; I wanted them to remove the sidewalk/correct the problem. After many discussions, Mattingly offered to coat the concrete. However, I would need to recoat every 2-3 years. They would pay for the coating & two applications. This was not an option as the coatings peeled/discolored over time. The from porch was also 7 inches deeper than the specs. I had to pay ***** Iron $1,200.00 to retrofit my original wrought iron railings. Mattingly refused further talks, referred me to their attorney, who would not respond. I still owe $9,995. I want a refund because to need to have the problems fixed.Initial Complaint

I am trying to obtain information about a driveway install. We have had several issues over the past 15 months. We had several large cracks that developed 3 months after the driveway was installed, Mattingly replaced those pads. I asked at the time of the repair if the area should be reinforced and was told that was not necessary. 8 months latter , another crack developed in the same area. The entire driveway is also flaking and pitting. Mattingly has said they will caulk the crack. I have asked repeatedly for copies of the work orders, the type of concrete used, both from the initial pour and the repair. The amount of substrate laid down, the name and type of concrete sealant sprayed onto the driveway along with the dates. There should be 2 dates as the concrete has been sealed twice.
