August 24, 2020 **** started my driveway my husband and **** had words over what they had discussed before **** got started and he didnt do the driveway the way they discussed. September 8th 2020 he poured new driveway. He had to comeback at night because there were no lines in my driveway to make the sections. **** used a saw and made lines. I never saw ***************** my driveway and it cracked 3 days later. **** was contacted on September 15th by my husband. **** asked for pictures and my husband sent them. October 21, 2020 I noticed that when it rains my driveway holds water. **** was contacted 7 times by December 4th 2020. Every time he said he would come look at it he didnt show up. May22, 2021 I contacted **** and he said he would fit us in. Today is June 30th, 2022 and I am still waiting. My driveway has another crack, has chips in the concrete and have spots where the water holds when it rains. On April 30th, 2022 **** called me and told me I could post anything I wanted on ******** he didnt care but dont bother him and hung up on me when I asked when he was fixing my driveway. **** has no intentions of fixing my driveway and that breaks what he says about his business that they stand behind every job. I want my driveway redone the correct way.Business response

Hello,
Responding to a customer complaint isn't something I want to do. I would prefer that all jobs go well and my customers are happy.
This job went well as we did 3 others in the same cul-de-sac, but this homeowner has no knowledge of concrete and we were trying to educate them as we went.
We placed/sealed the concrete and I came back to saw cut the stress joints in.
I was told by one of the neighbors that they drove on the driveway before recommended time. That along could have caused some cracking and as well settling of the concrete.
We strive to place top workmanship at your home.

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]So here is my reasons why I rejected his response. He never explained concrete to us, I went to my neighbors who also had their driveway done by **** he said he spoke to my neighbors I ask each one of them and he has not spoken to them. We did not drive on the driveway for two weeks like we were told. When he came back the next day to get tre boards around the driveway he came real early so he wouldnt see us. His son came back that day to clean up and finish the trash around. I ask for his son to tell ********** wanted to speak to him he said he would tell him. When **** came back I ask him where the stress dividers were and that is when he used his saw to cut them in. I never seen him seal my driveway. He also told me if it was uneven and held water he would fix it he didnt. I feel he should have to redo my driveway. I dont know how to do attachments and I will have to send you pictures with another email. Sorry *************************

Hired *********************** to tear out and redo my entire driveway, paid $1,500 deposit (25% of $6,000 total estimate), on 9/11/21. **** could not get the materials to complete project timely. He wanted to do the work after the ground had frozen, sometime in November '21, and I declined because i was afraid of cracking due to freezing. I told him we could wait until April of this year. Emailed and texted **** to get this moving in April, May, and June and have had no response, and my emails are bouncing and texts going unanswered. Homeowner has misread the contract that we agreed on. I had great opportunity to finish this job with my expertise and judgment of weather, but she refused on the times I mentioned and wanted to wait. I have text to prove it. Now with the supply and demand of concrete materials shortage of concrete, gas prices, rain... the delay is not only her but others as well. If she wants a refund she agreed in the contract she submitted as evidence that a 15% fee will apply off the total cost of project. Otherwise our schedule is catching up and I can place the driveway and will if she wants. Thx for listening and I apologize to my public for see things like this.
