On 8/13/2022 I contracted *************************** of ** Electric to fix my husband's old house so we could sell it. The house is in ************ and I live 50 minutes away. ******* said he could do the job in 60 days, which is why I hired him. He had a crew and they did demo work in the first few weeks. The first 3 weeks of September I paid him in ************* instead of driving to the site. I found out in mid/late September ******* had taken $35,000 and not done work. I'm getting a contractor to estimate, but I have a signed paper from ******* stating we paid him $74,500 and there is no way more than $30-$35K in work has been done. Since Nov. 2022 I've texted, called, and he keeps promising to do work. He's said cabinets had been on backorder and then were in, but they were never delivered to the property. He took the refrigerator and said he'd give $2K off the price because we'll have a new fridge, stove, and dishwasher, but he hasn't done any work on the kitchen, it's gutted and empty. The main floor flooring is almost complete. He has promised painting inside and out and that's not even half finished. I have recorded him listing what needed to be done with timeframes, then he has done nothing except almost finished the upstairs ************* he doesn't return my texts or calls. He has lied in text and video and I can prove he committed fraud. This person belongs in jail and should not be allowed to have licenses, bonds, or anything that will allow him to lie and steal from others.I wouldn't mind if his helper, ****, finished the job. But ******* has lied and said for months "we'll do it, we'll do it." I can't wait any longer. ******* knows his extra months cost me mortgage, taxes, and utilities.Initial Complaint

MP ELECTRIC AND RESTORATION - put in a new electrical box on November 30, 2021. When a new tenant moved in the unit in March 2022, he noticed the washer and driver was not working. I called Broadripple Appliance. He came out and stated, you don't have the right size breaker in the fuse box. I called the company, the owner, *************************** who had installed the box and put in the proper breaker for the washer and dryer. However, he should have put in the same breakers that were in the original box. He did not. I paid Broadripple Appliance $60 to tell me what **************** did wrong. He did come back. He was not pleasant. The second issue happened when the same tenant tried to use the air conditioner. It was **** and 90 degrees. I called my **** technician. He could not get over for about a week. When the **** came over he said the same thing, you dont' have a breaking in the new electric box for the *** I called **************** for several days. He would make an appointment and not show or call. I'd call and get his voicemail. It was super hot and humid. I offered the tenant $50 off his rent for enduring the humidity with no air conditioning. Finally after several days of leaving messages for Mr. right, I asked the **** guys to do the wiring and insert the correct breaker. The **** guy said, the wiring was INCORRECT in the box. He said if the ** came on it would burn it up because the wires there were NOT the right type. He wired the **** and put the correct wiring in for me. He charged $280. He said the wire in there is not accurate and it could cause damage to appliances. **************** and I spoke I asked him to change the other wires that were hazardous. I let him set a time that was inconvenient for me. I tried to call several times but, no return call. I had another electrician change the wiring. The fee was $125. I want to be reimbursed for all the I have spent: 60, 50, 280, and 125 = $515. I want a refund of $515.00.
