We cancelled our wedding back on January 25, 2023 as we decided to do something else. We contacted The Neidhammer and let them know we were okay forfeiting our deposit and then the $500 change fee just so long as they canceled our event. In April of 2023, we were charged $6,500 still. We contacted them and told them to refund us our money as we cancelled our event. We forwarded on those correspondence and they removed the charge. Today, October 6, 2023, we were charged $8,847.50 AFTER we already had communication stating they confirmed our cancellation. We reached out to them this morning and they could not put us in contact with anyone right away to get this rectified. This is extremely unprofessional and, frankly, shady business practices.Business response

This complaint was made after a refund has already been issued.
4/2023- Client agreed to auto withdrawal with previous management. As new owners, we are unable to void any agreements previously made. Client on 4/24/23 was advised of the above and to prevent the issue, moving forward, Neidhammer advised to remove cars from system. Client agreed on 4/24/23.
10/6/23: Clients card ran per her agreement in the old system, as this was the last agreed payment with previous owners. Upon discovery refund was issued prior to contact from client.
Client called in to complain about the charge; we again explained to couple, we are unable to remove the card from the system, as we advised on 4/24/23. Neidhammer inquired about lack of card removal from system, client ***** advised, I think I remember you saying that but I forgot I guess.
We then advised no further action is needed by Neidhammer.
