Thank you for allowing Comfort Pro an opportunity to respond. We believe our work has been completed. The services provided were approved by a qualified inspector.

The following is a list of those services that were completed and inspected:

Water Heater: Installed new 50 gallon water heater. Attic was accessed only to examine wiring and make connection related to new water heater installation.

Duct Work: The duct work was not in scope of work. Our team did not make any repairs or alterations to the duct work. The duct work was tested by an insulation contractor and all ducts passed a leakage test at completion of project.

Follow Up Visit: We later returned, along with a technical expert, to investigate and resolve customers complaints. All work was found to be in good order.

However, a related issue was found. The customer hired a local utility company to install a new thermostat. It was found that the local utility company did not properly install the thermostat. A Technical Expert advised Comfort Pro to reconfigure a thermostat installed by the local utility company.  This particular thermostat had been set inadvertently to accommodate a gas furnace instead of a heat pump. Comfort Pro was able to reconfigure the thermostat.

The installation error caused the unit to run in auxiliary heat at all times, and could account for the rise heating bill.

At Comfort Pro we hold ourselves to the highest standards which we have done for the past 15 years of doing business.

As a response to the complaint that I filed, I am rejecting the following reasons Comfort Pro heating and cooling was assigned by the energy assistance program and his job was to come out, clean my electric furnace and my electric heat pump and replace my hot water heater with a new hot water heater however *******, the owner of Comfort Pro heating and cooling decided he and a worker should access my attic when I was unaware and realized he had access my attic when I heard him and his worker fall down several times in the attic damaging the ductwork and the wiring. This attic is  accessible outside the  home  next to the electric furnace.

It was no reason to access the attic because it was a hot water heater there that had been cleaned by my inspection along with the wire / and wiring to the old hot water heater  that was already in the area where he needed to install the new one this problem came about after comfort pro and heating access the attic and replaced the hot water heater. In which I pictures of the old hot water and the new one.

Now the second issue is that he asked his worker to take part in cleaning my electric furnace and removed all my new parts placing them in driveway and replacing them with a few old ones I also have the pictures to show. Overall I tried and tried to explain this problem that occurred with ******* and because of his arrogant, rude and unprofessional attitude, it was a no-win.

As for resolution Im asking for this company to pay for a company that specialize in duck work and wiring to assess the issue because Comfort Pro and heating company can never come back into my house again this was uncalled for.

      Thanks

Company said there is nothing for them to do, as they did not install it, and after they did a cleaning there was another company that came in and did work to it.
