Williams came to our house when our AC stopped working. We were told the blower was bad, which was correct. We were then told that our heat exchange was cracked, that it was unsafe, and we needed an entire new system. The tech showed my wife a picture of what he said was the cracked heat exchange, which he claimed to have photographed with a scope inserted into our system. We scheduled an appointment with a sales rep from Williams for the next day. We were quoted three different systems, all of which were very expensive. We informed the sales rep that we were going to take a day to consider and maybe get a second quote. He seemed emotionally wounded by this and briefly attempted to pressure us into making a decision on the spot, but we resisted. Typical high-pressure sales techniques.I reached out to a second HVAC company for a second opinion. I did not disclose to that company the amount of the Williams quote. When I sent the second company the picture of the cracked heat exchange, I noticed that the picture had a dateline from January 2024, over six months before the technicians visit. I became concerned that the Williams tech showed my wife a picture of a cracked heat exchange from someone elses HVAC system. When the second company came to our house, he seemed very sure that the picture was not from our system, which is much older than the system depicted in the picture and which uses a completely different type of heat exchange.We eventually hired the second company, which, without knowing Williams quote, offered us options that were approximately half of Williams *********** advised us when removing our old unit that the picture Williams showed us did not appear to be from our unit, and that our heat exchange was not cracked or unsafe.We are fortunate to have figured this out.Review from Tim H

Ive used Williams Comfort Air twice now- each time was friendly phone scheduling, prompt response, and completely courteous and professional service. Each time was tentative conversation as to what was going on with my air conditioning and efficient diagnosis and immediate fix. Offered services but no pushy up sales. Williams Comfort Air replaced our Furnace and AC unit on 7-17-2024. The salesman that gave us the quote was top notch ---- very professional and honest !!! The 2 installation men: *************************** and ******* ****** were awesome ! Very professional and friendly !! So glad we went with Williams Comfort Air and would recommend to anyone !!! I had a duct cleaning appointment on 15 July 2024. I asked to have my ducts deodorized/sanitized during the appointment, but the team was unable to perform that task because they didn't have access to the equipment needed to do it. They finished the duct cleaning and scheduled a return visit for this morning, 16 July 2024. I was told that it would be a quick less than 10 minute visit and I would likely be the first appointment of the day. I got a follow up call from your company to confirm the appointment and was told the window for arrival would be between 0800-1000. I work overnight, so I had to take off from work and lose 2 hours of pay in order to ensure I was home in time for the appointment. I waited from 0800 until ******************************************* updates from the company. I called to inquire about the status and was told that the technician could possibly get to me later this afternoon. That's not acceptable. I only have 5 hours left to sleep today before I have to leave for school and then work. I'm in class from 1800-2100, and then I drive forklifts on a freight dock moving oversized and hazmat products from 0000-1000. I have to be rested for these activities. I can't sacrifice anymore time or sleep today. After a long hold and a disconnection, I was called back to be notified that the technician just decided to reschedule me for a week out with no concern for whether or not I would even be available on that day, much less if I could even afford to lose another 2 hours of pay to make myself available for the service. This was supposed to be a less than $70 deodorizing/sanitizing service, but it will end up costing me over $200 with the loss of pay included if I schedule yet another appointment. I'm not asking for anything from your company. I just want you to be aware that this isn't right. I'm not a man of means. I can't afford to keep taking these kinds of hits for no reason.Review from Beverly P T

Great Service! Came home from work to a non working AC, called at 6:30 pm and tech arrived at 9:30 pm. He quickly diagnosed the issue but unfortunately didnt have the part on his truck. The tech returned the next afternoon replaced the part and my AC is working and cooling great! ??Williams Comfort Air Response
