***** charged my bank card for $140 and charged this amount twice for a total of $280 withdrawn from my checking account. I created a ***** help desk ticket on January 1st requesting an explanation of the charges and refund. I noticed that my help desk ticket has been closed as complete several times but as of today, I do not see a refund to my bank account and nobody from ***** has informed me of the reason for the $280 charge to my bank card. I have called, e-mailed, updated and re-opened the help desk ticket several times. I received an e-mail from the regional manager for ** ***** advising me to call ************ to discuss. I called twice and left a message on a voicemail. I received a return call on January 25th from the ** regional manager who advised me to call the national office. I called ************ and left a message but my call was not returned. On January 25th, I submitted a request through the contact link on the ***** website but there has been no response to date. As January 30, I have not received an explanation of the charges to my bank card and I have not received a refund. This withdrawal by ***** resulted in a negative balance in my checking account because I was not prepared for the charge and because the money has not been returned to me. According to the information on the ***** website, I have no active or current membership so the charge was not for membership dues. I would like to know why my bank card was charged $280 by the ***** and if there was no legitimate reason to take this money from me, I would like the above amount returned immediately. I was told by ***** representative ************************, that the refund could take up to 2 weeks but it has now been a month since I notified ***** of this issue and I still have no answer and no refund.Customer response

The charge to my bank card caused a negative balance in my checking account and resulted in 2 insufficient funds fees of $20 each. So the total cost to me is the $280 paid to USATF plus $40 in insufficient funds fees paid to my bank.Customer response

Thank you. What the ***** did basically amounts to theft because I have no membership and no refund. So they took $280 from my bank account for no reason. I will contact the attorney general and probably Better Get ******* on **** Thank you for your help.Initial Complaint

I signed up for a membership 2 years ago with ******* track and field. This was pre covid and what looked to be the end of covid last year. Well then all the sudden this year I got a charge for $44 from *** Track and Field that I in no way authorized. I contacted them and asked for my money back which they told me no. With my mife losing her job 3 months ago, I barley got 2 pennies to run together and not they just took them from me. I want my $44 back.Initial Complaint

I have registered my son at the ***** and paid the registration fee. However, I cannot login to my account and ***** has not responded to multiple inquiries for help. Additionally, they do not have a phone line to solicit help. This issue has costs my son's ability to participate in ***** events already, and I am concerned that it will cost him participation in the future.
