July of 2023 bobs construction was contacted to give a estimate on replacing roof and interior damage to interior ceilings . Insurance declared storm damage on roof and interior ceilings. Bobs construction relpaced the roof on Aug 4 2023 and repaired one interior ceiling and was to get with insurance to get adjustement for the other damaged ceilings. We have been contacting them ever since Aug of 2023 to get remaining work done and they have not replied to our request and will not reply to our request. We need work completed.

Good morning, my office has responded to Ms **** interpreter, ***, each time she has reached us.  I did complete all items approved by the insurance company as to date. I have not been paid in full for the work completed so far.  I will reach out to Ms **** interpreter as soon as I hear back from the insurance adjuster.  If they do not cover the added supplement then I will need paid in full for the work completed and I will quote the work ********* is requesting to see if she would like to pay out of pocket to repair.  I have several insurance claims that have supplement requests that have not been approved that have dated back to last summer.  Unfortunately insurance companies switch out desk adjusters all the time due to turnover with employees, or with other catastrophes that cause the adjusters to be replaced with new adjusters, which creates a back log with approvals and getting to files in a timely manner.  I will try to reach the escalation department to see if they can get this matter addressed.  I will reach out to *** hopefully by the end of next week with an update.  Thank you for your understanding.

On 9/1/21 ****, the owner of Bobs Construction, came to my home and assessed what needed to be repaired and provided a written estimate on the spot. This estimate was high, but he assured me that all of the work was guaranteed and would be done correctly. The next morning, his unprofessional crew of men arrived and stated blasting their music from the truck while they were working. Before leaving, the ******* told me that they would return the following day to complete the work. They finished a few things but refused to fix the gutter board, which was written on the estimate. After calling them several times in October and November, they finally came out on 11/15/2021 to assess the work. On 11/16/21, they completed the gutter board work on one side and refused to do any work on the other side.I called on 3/22/2022 left a message and received no call back. I called on 3/24/2022 and was transferred to ***** phone by the receptionist. When **** answered, he was extremely rude, unprofessional, and irate. Obviously, the receptionist shared my name because he did not permit me to explain the problem and yelled, You are trying to get something for free! We did our work! Any time that I tried to speak, he rudely cut-me off and got louder. He then yelled, Call the BBB; they wont do anything. On 9/2/2021, I paid ***** fee of $6,225. Hence, nothing was done for free. I merely want the work to be completed as promised in 2021 and guaranteed per ***** words to me.

I am the owner, ***, my representative **** was the gentleman that sold and took care of the customers job. Attached is the signed contract for the agreed upon work.  The estimate is itemized and is very fair pricing.  The bid included some of the wood repairs, not all of the wood changed. Bobs Construction stands behind work completed.  My company did have several workers arrive to do her job very quick, this is how my company makes money to pay for workers, salesmen, and overhead, we are a business that is in business to make a living. We do allow workers that are working outside to have the use of a radio, not music from a vehicle.  *********************** did not like the type of music that was playing and come outside to tell my workers that this type of music does not go with this neighborhood, so my guys did turn it off, but it was not due to the loudness of the music.  My crew actually got all the work done in a quick manner, *********************** was happy with the work and paid us in full.  *********************** did call a few times and we had our guys go back out twice and addressed the issues that she had spoke of, which was extra work, not what was specified on the contract.  The last time we were out there we made it very clear that we have went above and beyond from what was contracted to what she is asking for, we will be happy to bid and do more work for her, but we cannot keep doing what she feels is call backs when in fact they are extras and need to be extra charges.  **** at no time yelled at the customer, he was firm with her, stating that she was told that we completed the original contract, she paid in full, and keeps reaching us wanting more done but we fulfilled our part of the agreement.  I will happily bid for more repair work, but we cannot do any more work at no charge.

      Thank you,

      ***********************

2019 we paid Bob's Construction for custom copper covers for our chimneys. 2021 one blew off and was damaged. I've talked to the company for 2 months for repair and they keep promising to fix the problem but have not shown up to do so.

I did speak with **************** and I did go to the property to take a look.  I did find severe wind damage to the chimney.  I have tried to reach the owner to schedule an appointment to meet and speak about the issue, I think I may have a wrong phone number, as I have left messages with no response.  Please have **************** reach me at ************ to schedule a time to meet and speak about moving forward.

      Thank you,

On 3/24/2021 We contracted Bob's Construction to install a privacy fence along with a chain link fence, 3 gates, black rod iron on top of a brick wall and a pvc fence on a concrete patio. This work was to be completed by 4/5/2021. To this date it hasn't been completed. I have spoken to Mr. *** several times and he has promised to leave a copy of the contract in my mailbox so I can match it with mine. He hasn't done that either. We initially gave him $4,000 down. The contract states that the other $4,000 were to be paid at the completion of the job.*** came on 5/27/2021 and asked for $3,000 saying that's what was needed for him to have the custom made iron rod and front gate for the brick wall. We gave him the money and didn't hear from him for a month. When we called he came to the house saying that he now needs $3,000 more to have it made. This meeting got us nowhere since he made my husband upset and now my husband doesn't want to see him anymore. We are being ignored and lied to.

Good morning, and sorry for the delay, as I was battling COVID and getting caught back up on missed appointments and jobs.  My company representative, *******************, has been the representative working with Mr and **********************.  **** did bid to do fence work for the *********** March 24, 2021, with an agreement signed on March 31 to complete the work stated on bid.  The spring time weather did play a factor in getting the work started and completed, we apologized for that, but it was certainly out of our control.  After the job was sold, the *********** wanted to add a custom made rod gate and fence to match, this was an additional, extra, that was not on the original contracted work of only installing iron rod at the top of existing brick wall.  When the other items on the contract was completed, **** and I both met with ********************* to collect for the work completed and discussed how much the extra iron gate and fence requested was going to be. ********************* got super upset, yelling and screaming, and told us to leave the premises.  We have tried several times to explain the added cost, if desired, to complete the gate and the fence area with the desired iron materials to no avail.  We have requested to explain it to the homeowners daughter in hopes that there is just a language communication barrier at play, with no avail.  We will be glad to install the iron gate and fence that they desire, but, there will be an additional fee for the materials and custom labor work because this was not in the contract signed.  We are certainly sorry for the issue at hand, and that the homeowners feel they are being ignored, but our office has answered all calls, and we have tried several times communicating on our end.  We cannot be expected to do additional, customized, added extras after a job is started for no additional costs, we would have to close down. Thank you for your time and understanding in this matter.
