I did read here negative reviews about that company, but thought that bad things were done to clients unintentionally, I was wrong. If you have life insurance with lifelong long-term care benefits rider, obviously,they consider this rider as high risk policy and might take your money in form of premium for a while, and then, at some point of time just make it lapse. Here is my experience: I paid all my policies over their website, and all of sudden found out that my long term care rider with lifelong long-term care benefits lapsed. I called and told that my monthly premiums for life insurance and this rider were paid before lapse time on their website. They answer was, even though you submitted your payment before lapse time, but it was fully processed after that lapse date. On my question of where then my two months premium, they told they received it, and took it from my checking account, but it will not be applied to my rider, because it was processed after lapse date. So, can I reinstate my long-term care rider with lifelong benefits? They answer yes, but I need to feel application. I filled application, all pages, where they need to be filled, and sent them over certified mail. They claimed for a long time that they didnt receive it, and today I provided of when certified letter was delivered by postal service with signature confirmation. So, now they are telling that I need to send not just pages that needs to be filled, but all pages with client instructions etcLong story short, if you buy lifelong long term care rider, you might pay big money and will end up without benefits when you get old.
