This company exhibits very predatory behavior and does not deliver on promises made to patients.I first visited Brain Performance in July of 2021 for evaluation regarding anxiety and depression. Since my insurance didn't cover it, I paid $800 out of pocket for 3 hours of "self testing"--literally filling out bubble sheets in a room by myself. I was told I would receive a written report within a few weeks containing diagnosis information based on the testing. That information is very useful for my psychiatrists, therapists, etc., to be able to take into consideration regarding my treatment. It is now August of 2022 and I have still not received the report. I have called many, many times over the last year requesting the report. I paid $800 for that information and have not received it. No attempt has been made to complete it or to communicate with me about an eventual completion. I have had to pursue continued treatment without that information, so even if I were to receive it, it is too late for it to be of any use to me. A quick ****** search shows several reviews of other patients having had the same experience. This needs to stop.Additionally, I regularly saw a therapist here over the last year, at a rate of $150 per 45-min session out of my own pocket. In January of 2022, he changed his rate to $200, and I was not informed. I continued to make payments AT THE **** OF SERVICE in the amount of $150 per session, and then was billed LATER for the accrual of the extra $50 that had not been paid (OR EVER BILLED). I was told at the desk it was $150, paid $150, then billed later for $200. When I complained, the therapist agreed to reduce the charges to $175 per session, which is still completely unacceptable, as I had already been charged $150 at the time of service.After disputing these inexcusable charges for months, I finally had to pay because they threatened to send me to collections.
