Rude and will not accommodate if you mess up placing an order 10 minutes after its placed. Cupcakes are not made for an order the next day 10 minutes after its placed online.

***** placed her order online via our secure online ordering site for 32 jumbo size cupcakes in a myriad of ************** for pickup the following day. She called 30 minutes PRIOR to placing her order online with some questions about our products and pricing which we shared. AFTER placing the order online, she called nearly 30 minutes later (not 10 minutes as confirmed via the call log) attempting to change the order to a different/lesser quantity. ***** was very frustrated at her employee who apparently ordered more than they required. Our cancellation/refund policy which is included within each product listing online was explained by our manager resulting in ***** becoming more upset and raising her voice repeatedly with our team. Said manager has been with the company 11+ years and is a sweetheart and customer favorite. In 11 + years we have never received a negative review on this employee or had anyone characterize her as "rude". Our manager attempted to make suggestions in an effort to help such as perhaps we could individually box each for your guests and use the $ in that manner while decreasing the number of cupcakes. At the end of the call, ***** was stating our policy was "ridiculous" and that she would never return despite several calls and over 20 minutes of attempts to re-work her order for her as requested. To clarify, every item we offer for purchase online includes within each specific item listing the following clickable link "REFUND/ CANCELLATION POLICY" which (when you click the link) states the following: "REFUNDS/ CANCELLATIONS/ PICKUP POLICIES: ALL SALES ARE FINAL with NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS ISSUED EVEN IF YOU CANCEL YOUR ORDER. Due to the hand crafted nature of our products and the limited number of orders we accept on any given day, we do not offer refunds or store credits for any reason including (but not limited to) cancellations due to covid, illness, or weather. We cannot change your pickup date or change the details of your order once you have placed your order. Please make sure you select the correct location for your order PICKUP as we cannot change this after you have placed your order. For these reasons, please confirm your details before placing your order. " This policy is consistent with most bakeries. It is unfair for ***** to rate us in this manner when we took every step possible to present her with the information prior to placing her order. We answered questions via phone and we detailed every aspect of the products from the flavors to the ingredients to the pricing to the cancellation policy online. While we are sorry ***** is unhappy, we do not see how we could have handled this situation any better given the circumstances. Suggestions were made, time was spent, and tempers on our end very controlled. Best wishes to ***** forward- even if we are not the bakery for her.
