In July of 2023, this company came to my door offering to help me get a brand new roof and gutters through my insurance. I signed a contract that Id only use them once approved through my insurance. It was approved and they paid for my roof and gutters to be done. The contractor ended up telling me they could not do my gutters due to inflation, they wouldnt be able to pay their roofers if they did. Now I am stuck with a new roof and gutters that are falling off and useless all because I had been scammed.Customer response

I paid ***** Trojan over 12k with proof of receipts and ***** he blocked my number never did the work. He is a great salesman and will make you feel secure about them doing the job but he stole from me and blocked my phone number after he received the moneyBusiness response

Trojan roofing would like to officially address Jalen on this matter
Trojan has performed all work contracted to them by *****. ***** originally had us come do a roof for him after he fired his first general contractor after the roof ***** asked us to help do some interior items like furnace, doors, and siding repairs which we did and finished at this point ***** asked if we could do the painting of his house. We agreed on a price and Trojan sent their labor and purchased materials for the job
During the day of the painting project we called our sub contractors who were there the day before who Jalen meet while they were repairing the siding and power washing it to start the painting. Both ***** and the sub stop picking up their phone, which was very strange. I finally came to find out from the subs helper who i got ahold of shortly after ***** stole our subs and materials and paid our workers directly cutting us out and creating a loss for this protect we dint start cause ***** wanted to be shady****** real concern is that he does not know how to go through the permitting process to get his electrical turned on his house (cause he is not licensed). Which his electrical contractor did not help with and I told him I would talk to the city and help him with it. We were wanting to help because ***** promised us we can do the drywall, painting and interior of his home. After I found out, he stole our contractors and ignored me for multiple weeks / mont.
Jalen would repetitively call me and my wife ***** times a day. Once he started to harass us, I decided it was best if he no longer had access to us.

Regards, ****** story is not even adding up hes all over the place what workers did I take from you and equipment? I have proof of everything I have proof of your wife telling me she remembers me giving you the money and shes going to talk to you after I threatened to show up to the business with police. Why did you post my house on ******** and say full restoration youre a fraud lying to people. Why would I have an electrical permit I own the house Im not electrician make it make sense *****. I have proof of you talking to the guy from the city trying to do the electrical work and youre not qualified for it. Please show the proof of me ever calling ***** times I can pull all the phone records. You blocked my number because you stole money and didnt do work that was agreed. I can pull bank statements and payment proofs of me paying you every time I paid you it was recorded. Every time you asked me for money it was recorded I have proof of everything. This is a fraudulent business
