I started leasing a vehicle November 29, 2023. The day I test drove the vehicle. It drove fine. When I get it home the next day the transmission light was on and it kept cutting off while I was driving. I called Big motors to inform them of the situation she told me there was nothing that she can do being that. I drove off the lot with it. I still had to pay a car note on the car. I called to see if they can trade me a car out or even look at it it cut off more and more, it had a real bad kick to it. A jerk to say a hard jerk a week and a half and cut off on me locked up. While driving on the interstate, I had my kids with me. It was a very scary situation when I called them to let them know that their car had cut off on the interstate and for them to come and get it she asked me what I wanna do I said I wasnt gonna put no more money into the car Because of that situation after they wouldnt look at it when I told them about the cut offs and the jerks in the beginning after they picked it up she called me the next day and said that it was due to a battery and that I can come and get it and bring my payment. It wasnt due to the battery. It was more like an electrical problem I had already took it to put it on a diagnostic test. There are five codes they came back. With a motor issue. That was the day after I bought it. I put $1700 down on it. I just want my money back. They sold me a lemon if you asked me and there is a lemon law that Im gonna look into

I went to big wheel motors in search of a better car for my commute for work. I had 4 grand saved up and didnt want to get stuck in another car payment so my goal was to find a car that I could buy out right and own. I approached *********************** the owner or wife of the owner. She was the person in charge from my understanding and told her what I was looking for and she stated to make an offer on a car I like and she would see what she could do. I test drove two cars one was a Pontiac and the other was the **** pathfinder I got. She seemed very up front about issues with the car and what ones I didnt want to touch. She wasnt very up front about the pathfinder I got because it broke down on me 4 days later in limp home mode on the interstate. I called and talked to ****** and she told me to bring it in so they could look at it so I was able to get the car to them and they ran a reading on the computer and they guy then tried to tell me all the o2 sensors where bad on the car and didnt offer to fix anything even tho I just spent 4k there on the car and I cant drive it to work let alone anywhere so I get the o2 sensors and do it myself and then once I think its all fixed the car wont go past 20 mph and it keeps missfire my next step is to check the maf. I dont know how a company can be so miss leading to get you to buy a car and then hang up on me every time I call. I called twice yesterday to ask how long the car sat on the lot because I thought maybe it just had bad gas in it but I got hung up on by ****** each time.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]

I am currently still not able to drive the car I spent **** dollars on as a better commute car from work. Ive now spent over a **** bucks on parts to fix it and have to pay another 160 to get it from the ****** dealership that told me to pretty much cut my lose with the car because all 4 cats are clogged and from that and time the exhaust was going back up into the engine, so the engine couldnt breath thats why its multi  misfiring. Ive bought all new spark plugs and still had misfiring. Ive kept every receipt Ive spent on that car so far and its not cheap and now I have to buy 4 cat converters and 4 o2 sensors and then pay someone to install them all in hope the car isnt ruined from the exhaust backing up from the cat. You lied to my face at the time of the sale and said it just got new spark plugs Ive attached pictures of those spark plugs and they are not new at all. Being misleading and ripping someone off and lie. The ****** dealership said there was holes drilled in to the cats to make it run. Big wheel motors is a scam and I dont think you should have a dealers license to be able to sell anything in *******. You just dont lie and lie and lie some more to get every dim out of someone when u knew the car was junk and Im going in the morning to file a lawsuit and see what the judge has to say about your morals. *** tried to reason with you and gave you a chance to make it right but your response says it all. Also how would it be illegal for you to work on the car you just sold me? Everyone Ive asked have no clue. The facts dont add up and nothing but con artist.
