  In August of 2022 we filed an insurance claim for our leaking roof. **** ****** and his friend came knocking at our door and we made the horrible decision to hire his company, America's Best Roofing and Restoration. He contacted us constantly and convinced us that we had to give him all of our insurance check (totaling $9817), and us, being gullible and trusting, gave it to him. From that point on he no longer reached out. I had to message him monthly asking for updates on when work would begin. There was a new excuse and lie every time until finally he got tired of me contacting him and the real **** emerged. He told us he won't be doing our roof or giving us our money back, and stated that I am no longer allowed to contact him. This man is a thief. Please, whatever you do, do not hire him for any work. He will take your money and be on his merry way.

  I contracted for a roofing repair. However, the work was substandard, did not fulfill the contract, and was not satisfactorily completed. None of the wood was replaced as per the contract. Initially the owner was apologetic and sent the crew back to redo their work. Their rework still did not complete the expected/contracted work. I provided images of the rework to the business owner showing the issues with that work but he did not want to address them. Instead, he demanded immediate payment of the balance due or would sue me and file a lien on my property. He claims that he has paid for the work 2-times. Since his crew did not do the work properly the 1st time that should be between him and them, not my responsibility. I never said that I wouldn’t pay what I owed but I did say I wanted to discuss my concerns before I did that. The contract did say “payment due upon completion” but rather than address my concerns he hang up on me. He then sent a crew to my property and removed a section of my barns roof leaving the inside exposed to the weather. I had every intention to pay once my concerns were addressed but rather than work on a fair solution I had a good portion of my roof destroyed and was told “severe storms are coming within 2-days so you’ll need to find another contractor fast”. I had already contracted with this firm in August 2022 for a 5-year roof inspection & maintenance program for my house but due to the dispute over the barn’s roof repair I was told that contract would not be honored.

  All work was completed 2 times as per agreement. The homeowner wanted additional work and we did that free of charge. Once done, he stated he had left on vacation and wasn't going to pay until he got back in 2 week. We explained it wad due upon completion and was to be paid. He refused. At that point, we professionally removed our unpaid material only which is in our legal rights. We made every effort to get it addressed before we removed our material.
