Dealership added a $6k extended warranty to contract without consult. When questioned, were told warranty would cover all damage, whether caused by us or not and recommended to wait until there were a couple of issues to avoid duplicated deductible cost. First use, the side slides were leaking and the awning was dry rotted. The dinette slide had mold/mildew on the underneath wood and the awning fabric peeled. We called in April to schedule service, earliest June 3 to repair the slide, awning, vent cover, issue with CO2 sensor and a water line leak. RV has been sitting on lot for almost 5 months now with slide partially open and leaking. Almost none of the needed repairs are covered by that warranty. We continuously call but no resolution and are consistently put off because who we need to speak to is not there. Were ensured RV would be ready 9/24 for Disney trip but learned the day of that it had not been touched. Dealership provided rental. Total repair cost still unknown.Business response

The Extended Service Contract the customer purchased was clearly fully disclosed and explained to the customer prior to closing any loans or signing paperwork. We have the signed and initialed documentation that was presented to the customer to support our position. In addition, the contract the customer purchased was not a comprehensive policy but a specific "Named Component" contract that does exclude the Slide out system.
The Unit was here waiting on parts. Like every other dealer and most other industries part availability has been a horrible issue and takes control from our hands in completing unit repairs forcing us to miss many hoped for deadlines. We did provide the rental unit at no cost so the customer could make their trip
