I have paid over ******** with two insurance plans and was told at my final visits I owed nothing. Now approaching a year since I was seen last I am receiving a bill for over ******* additional dollars. I have reached out to business and was promised it would be looked into with a return call in 3 days. I have left numerous messages via their website, phone and email with no response. This complaint is for their Alpine Dental in ********* ******* location.Business response

Good afternoon.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to respond to this complaint. **************** had previously filed a BBB complaint with his local BBB. That complaint was closed in our favor. In order to provide more details, please have **************** sign a HIPAA release and I will be happy to respond more thoroughly.
Thank you kindly,
*****

I am rejecting this response because:
I am not sure what you are talking about? I have never filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding ***************** in ********* *******? How about a mailed itemized statement and a phone call from your billing department? I have to sign a hoops form to get a return phone call?I have all my documentation that shows I was paid in full and at this point I am going to turn this over to my attorney.

Good afternoon. As you will see in the attached, our team did provide a treatment plan to ****************. The fees did vary from one office to the next. So, our team honored the fee he was quoted. That is not where this balance is coming from, however. The balance on ******************** account is a result of his insurance company not paying as expected. The treatment plan is a quote based on the insurance information provided. **************** signed off that he understood that any balance not paid by the insurance would be his responsibility. If he has any questions with the balance, **************** should reach out to his insurance company or any discount plans that he was subscribed to. They should be able to provide him with an EOB showing his responsibility. If there are any discrepancies, he can share that/those EOBs with me and I will have my billing team review. However, at this time, the balance is correct.Thank you kindly,Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
My dental plan shows I may owe ****** not ******* - also since my dental plan *** benefit amount is **** a year then how could **** ever be expected?? Makes no sense. I have received a msg finally from the owner and will be speaking with him later today. Also why are the service dates in 01/2022 as my last visit was in 12/21?
This response also does not address why your office says they will look into it and call me back and never does?
