Dental Charges dated Dec. 18, 2023 and Dec. 28, 2023. Charges are attached. Lakewood told me on the phone before my appt. that my insurance, United Healthcare is in their network. I presented my card at the time of my appt as well. First appt Dec 18 was for a cleaning. They did X-rays and then stated they would do the cleaning with my next appt for a filling. I felt that was very strange. No other dentist I went to has done it that way. Next appt on Dec 28th was for filling and cleaning. They messed up and only scheduled me for a cleaning. The Hygenist told me this. I said I need the filling too thats why I scheduled this. She got the doctor, he did the filling after he was hesitant. He told the hygienist to polish my teeth after the filling. I NEVER GOT A CLEANING!! What a joke! As I mentioned they told me my insurance is in their network at the beginning when I scheduled my appt. I then presented my insurance card before they even put me in the chair. I never would have went there because they are NOT in my network!! I now hove to find a reputable dentist in my network and get a cleaning. I felt their staff was very unprofessional for many reasons and they obviously dont know what insurance companies are in their network. The charges were outrageously and No cleaning. Please assist me in resolving this matter. Thank you!
