I bought 3 trees from Bellingers April 29, 2022. They did not come to plant them until June 2022. When they were done 2 of the trees didnt look to good so I called them and the tree specialist came out. He looked at them and said, well they are guaranteed for a year so if they die, we will replace them. He stated he would come back in September. I called in September for the arborist to come back out and the person who answered said she would tell him. He never came back out and 2 weeks ago I heard they closed. Im pretty sure one is not going to come back to life in the spring. I spent alot of money having them put them in to guarantee my trees. I wish they would have honored their guarantee. A woman brought a check under ********************************* name and paid for by his bank account totaling $770.06 to *********** to buy a tree on May 27, 2022 for the sole purpose of including his wife's ashes during the planting. **** was in the hospital at the time and we cannot confirm he filled out the check, which was in his apartment across town, himself. The tree planting was put on hold until **** could be present, but sadly he passed away June 28, 2022, leaving me as Trustee over his estate. ****'s lawyer, next of kin, and I all agreed we would follow what **** and his wife's will requested: that their ashes be spread over other land they own. One of the many reasons for cancelling this purchase was that *********** informed me the tree would died unless regularly watered, which is currently impossible. Under the direction of ****'s attorney, I requested a refund from ***********. In the original phone call many weeks ago, a *********** representative agreed. After 3 weeks without refund or notification of a change, I called *********** and they very aggressively denied a refund. I provided legal proof of my appointment as Trustee, screenshots of emails with the attorney, and asked that they send me documents if someone else is claiming to have legal rights over ****'s estate. Again, I received zero communication until I called them this week and was hung up on by *****. I called back to leave a voicemail for their owner who has not yet called me back.
