I filed an insurance claim for my camper. I took it to a repair shop and purchased the necessary repair parts. They sent the wrong parts with an $800 shipping fee.

We purchased a 2022, brand new Riverside Retro 171DRD the end of June 2023. This has to be one of the cheapest, poor quality construction of a camper that we have ever seen. Here is a list of problems: 1. Roof has several areas that were not properly sealed to prevent water penetration. Not sure what kind of between the wall water damage has occurred. 2. Bathroom roof vent, mounting brackets for exterior cover installed in wrong positions. 3. Shelf broke in refrigerator after first use. 4. Missing and crooked finish trim throughout camper. 5. Exterior door trim not sealed properly, can see daylight from the inside with door closed. 6. Dining table, the posts and brackets are not correct, table will not stay up. 7. When dining table is down for extra bed, the cushions do not fit. So unable to use as a bed. 8. Several pieces of hardware had to be tightened to secure handles and k**** 9. Shower pan is installed on the outside of the finished shower walls. 10. Poor design of window layout on door side of camper, does not allow for a better size of awning. 11. Behind counter backsplash installed poorly, loose.Have sent information to manufacturer, still waiting for reply.

My elderly (87) mother bought a trailer in December 2021 from one of your dealers here in California ** RV. My mother was visiting me as she lives in Quartzite, *******. They have it titled in CA when it should be titled in *******. We contacted your company soon after my mother purchased the trailer with the issues she was having with the dealer and your warranty service. The dealer is not responsive and does not return calls. A really nice lady from Riverside RV was very helpful, but did not see the dealer my mother bought the trailer from a Riverside retailer (they are as I see from your web site). Mind you my mother lives in ******* which is a 2 1/2 hour drive to her home to ** RV. We contacted you about an issue she was having with her heater blower not turning off. She took the trailer to a repair person in her area who was suppose to fix the heater and ** RV would reimburse my mother for the cost for to repair the issue. The issue still is NOT resolve. She had to have someone disconnect the heater system all together. ** RV was in such a rush for my mother to buy this trailer they did not even know how to work some of the features in the trailer. There is some major wiring issue that need to be sorted out. My mother has only gone camping in this trailer a few times. I would like to point out a few items we have found in the time since she has purchased this trailer. I would like to return my trailer for full refund.

From the day we purchased this camper we had small issues.Nothing we couldn't fix, but things that made is worry about bigger issues down the road due to craftsmanship and small instances of cutting corners.Sure enough, here we are, 19 months into owning a brand new, 30k+ trailer and the first big manufacturing issue hit us.We had a leak in the cealing where the front bulkhead met the roof.My husband is meticulous about care (we had traded a *************** in for our Intrepid at about 17 months without even a hiccup). A lot of hose clamps not on properly and plumbing leak after plumbing leak until we replaced and went over everything. Now the new issue, the roof leak at that seal, despite the seal being checked, maintained and ultimately replaced. It looked to be separating and sagging at that joint despite our best efforts and minimal use.Today we had to take it in before we could take our camper on a trip and the ** repair specialist found a rafter that had been pushed up because the rafter and the sheeting were not fastened correctly. What a huge problem. I'm still absorbing this. The sheeting on the roof and the rafter was not properly fastened. For over thirty grand the roof wasn't securely attached. How scary is that!? What's next? When the 8 mo **** was approaching, 4 mo. Before the warranty ended, we attempted to call and email riverside to schedule an appointment for little things that needed attention (a button cover and s**** cap were missing, undercarriage tape was a mess and some had been replaced by the dealer at pickup, etc.).They never got back to us and that was another red flag.Ultimately I'm just sad and disappointed. My husband is a disabled vet and he has given so much...I wish he could spend what little pain-free / low-pain time he has just enjoying some adventures in this trailer...and instead he has to constantly fix things and now worry about the next thing that wasn't done properly and how much that fix will cost:(Buyer Beware.

I purchased a camper new from Riverside RV in 2021. I have filed a warranty claim with them concerning faulty brakes on the camper. They have all the paper work to verify my claim. It has bee several months and I have yet to be compensated for my expenses to repair a manufacturers defect. My claim is for $ ******. If not compensated I am willing to take legal action, and any other action to bring to light this companies lack luster response to my claim.************************************ 01/09/2023
